Two men arrested in connection with an alleged attack on "Empire" star Jussie Smollett have been released without being charged...

Just heard that on the Chicago 10pm news. Both men let go. Back to where we started.

Legally, they must be let go if not charged within 48hrs. However, I don't know if that was the reason...just citing legal reasons that would apply.

Technically they were not arrested....they were detained for questioning.

It should be clear to all by now that the story that was presented was false. The question is, was it false due to blatant malcontent in perpetrating a racial hoax to defame Trump and republicans at large or was it just a narcissistic play at garnering attention?

Trust me, one of those two things will end up true in this case!

If you're being questioned by the police you need lawyer, regardless of the accusation. Without one you're taking a substantial risk.
