Of course the reasons matter. How are you going to fix something if you don't know what's broken.

Also. You seem to be under some sort of illusion that illegal immigrants can come here and get everything given to them by the government. However, with some exceptions, Undocumented immigrants, including DACA holders, are ineligible to receive most federal public benefits. Oh and it seems that immigrants contribute more to local economies than they receive public benefits.

There's more information below.

Should the US have control of it's borders. Yes. But you do understand that with the size of our coastline. 100% is a fantasy that will never happen. If you actually wanted 100% you'd practically blow our entire budget trying to do so and fail miserably.

As for employers not hiring people without a ss card or drivers license. Apparently Trumps businesses do so and then provide illegals with fake docs to keep working.

Trump wants his wall, he'll go to great lengths to make sure it happens, I wonder if those lengths include funding caravans that will make the insecure of America fear the illegal alien once again. I actually thought he'd save this tactic for 2020...

the fact that these caravans are coming for a weak spot in the border wall just proves Teump is right. Even the moronic Democrats should be able to figure this one out.

Curious that, isn't it, just as Trump needs proof he is right about the wall, he gets it. You couldn't make this up...

Texas police are forming a HUMAN wall to apprehend caravan participants who cross the Rio Grande, and step on U.S soil.

It's too bad we have to RELEASE THEM after they're caught. Makes you wonder what's the purpose of apprehending them in the first place.

LOL That is freakin crazy...The people want to be captured and processed. Why would you think such is necessary. The latest group that crossed about 250 built a fire so that border patrol could find them.

Texas Police? That's even funnier and likely they are doing such on their own time. As if the people are breaking the law...

ETA Mr. wheels sent 500 DPS Officers to the border. Their main function is too make sure no one drowns and such. There is no human shield or human wall. The people simply seek out the help and declare asylum so that they do not have to wait in port lines that only process around 20 applications per day.

It's too bad they have to apprehend them (catch) and let them go into U.S. society (release). All the shelters are full.

There needs to be something in the middle of the river, than can turn migrants from the arriving caravans back to Mexico.

Rivers change coarse much. If you are so against people escaping oppression then perhaps instead of screwing up the river you might want to advocate for a change in the law that says people can claim asylum here or perhaps support a change in the war on drugs that causes so much power to the cartels and even better support the usa to with draw intervention and sanctions in Venezuela that causes them to have a failing economy?

Did you catch that report the other day of a person trying to escape the usa? He was shot at the border. I suppose you also think people should not be allowed to leave this country even though so many people say if you do not love it then leave it. Guess what you can not leave unless you have permission.

Are you speaking about those corporation run holding facilities? Nice scam they have there by passing rules that fill em up.

Why not just give these people a work visa and let them work?

You say so.

Yet you post no facts to the contrary.

Are you saying that the 2 studies that Arizona and Florida gathered are wrong? If so please provide facts.

Link an article at least.

Where is your humanitarianism? Lost?

Where is your empathy? Never existed?

Where is your charity? Within yourself only?

It pains me terribly that hundreds of Americans are killed each year by Illegal Aliens, via murders and accidentally. If they were not in this country, those Americans would (most likely) still be alive.

Hopefully you feel the same way...that is, if YOU are a U.S. Citizen.

It's good to see that President Trump is not waiting for our "do nothing" Congress fix the growing crisis at our southern border.

Like President Trump, Stephen Miller is determined to do what's best for America and Americans, even if it isn't politically correct, or if it causes economic pain for a short time.

White House adviser Stephen Miller is finally taking charge of the Trump administration’s immigration priorities as Kirstjen Nielsen, General John Kelly’s former aide, resigned from the top post at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Border hawk Kris Kobach is seen as a leading contender to replace Nielsen as Miller consolidates his grip on the border crisis. But Kobach could also be relegated to an invented “border czar” role with unclear duties. The United States is currently under invasion, with George Soros money financing the invading caravan organizers.

Ken Cuccinelli, an avowed NeverTrumper during Trump’s political rise, is also inexplicably being discussed as a candidate for a top border-related position.

A handful of DHS bureaucrats are following Nielsen out the door, as well as the director of the Secret Service, whom Trump personally ordered gone.

“Replacing the USSS director signals that immigration hardliner Stephen Miller is gaining more leverage in the White House,” the Daily Mail reports.

Good. Miller is not only a poetic speechwriter for President Trump, but also one of the few Trump administration officials who exist mostly outside of the incompetent bureaucracy displayed by the large majority of the American government.
