*clears throat* What I was meant to do was to show a brief demonstration of how the world would be without the grammar Nazis'. The following footage may shock you, parental supervision is advised.

So be warned... as I tell you in a bad ghostly voice while wearing a white sheet. The Grammar Nazis' will come for-

Sorry, I tripped over my coffee table. But as I was saying "be warned!!!"

Know what's scarier than Grammar Nazis ?

The idea that stupid people like in the video are breeding.

I wonder which is worse, to breed like that by accident or on purpose. Ouch. Maybe my brain is not up to thinking about that one any longer.

Happens way more often than you might think. Voice of way too much experience on that.

Bad karma to laugh at someone’s lack of education.

Language and grammar evolves. Anyone who is so jumped up they cannot see that should speak Chaucer style English.

That was so awful.

It was hilarious at first, however, the longer it went on the more I wanted to cry.

My teachers were so bad I had to teach myself. Don't blame lack of education-blame quality of education.

It was a polite way of saying not very clever people.

Luckily we don’t take the piss out of speech impediments.

Those examples in OP were all understandable. Hence my complaint.

If you ask any of the examples if they would like to be able to spell correctly they would likely say yes.

Here’s my point and opinion:

An old thread

I honestly think it’s a very cheap shot and totally uncalled for elitism.

Usually used by people who have a need to look down on others and have no other intelligent way of doing so.

Also, dyslexia. Not nice to take the piss out of.

Oh come on, it's called humor.
My mother speaks English as a second language. There are still words we roast her about. She thinks it is as funny as we do. Some of the examples in the OP were just from people typing too fast, or not caring about checking the spelling.

It's really sad that we live in a world where we can't laugh at ourselves anymore.

Dyslexia? Not remotely ... Not all of them, not even a few. I've worked with kids who have it, and I'm familiar with the mistake patterns from it and from typos. Most of those are not from either one. Some of them might be ESL, but many are just people who don't care or paid no attention in English class.
