I knew it has to be another liberal as soon I read the title.

We got Trump because 8 years of Obama so stop crying.

Crying?? These tears are from laughing....!

See?...that's a typical liberal. You enjoy watching the country in crisis just because you hate President Trump.

Hate! You're the one hatin' on me. I love every damn body.

I'm an EMT, treat everybody equal because it's the only way to do a job like this.

And the "liberal" jab? Hardly! I'm so far from that you cant see me...but thatsall you can say when a posted article speaks to an issue.

That the person posting is a liberal? Can't see Forest for trees?

That is SOOOOOOME standard. How pathetic that you and the liberal left think that's all it takes to make America great. I guess it doesn't matter in the least who the next president is, what they stand for, their position on issues that Americans care strongly about etc.

Wouldn't it be funny if the next POTUS outlawed abortion, raised taxes by 20% on everyone and ousted every single non citizen here illegally?

Your ideology is naive.

So is thinking a 4-8 year temp. president is a king.

I posted an article...and am not a liberal.

An embarrassment is what he is indeed. Anyone here at Ats want their children to be like Donald Trump... Anybody?

Billionaire/ business owner/ President of the USA.

I would hope my children are even half as successful.

Hey...lemme jump in here since I'm the poster..play nice. I just posted an article...like hundreds of others here weekly.

We wish all well...in every corner of the globe...and the very best for all children.

Anyone wondering about son Baron???

So you want your children to lie cheat and steal to get to the top... How noble of you...

I never stated that. I do not raise my children to "lie cheat and steal to get to the top."

Do not be upset that I would like my children to be successful.
I'm sure you wish the same for your children (or family or friends, if you have no children).

Is this the same Richard Cohen that you agree with?

1986:

Cohen wrote a column in 1986 which argued owners of jewelry stores were right to refuse to allow entry to young black men because of a fear of crime.

Don't know anything about him. I read something and posted it.

One of the things I have learned from this site is research, research, research.
It can give you a better understanding on a given situation.

Good God.

That was a whole lot of whining.

Yeah. I thought so too. But, I didn't write it...but thought it should get passed around the payless paydays of gov workers waiting for the Mexicans to pay for the wall...oh! Wait....

Yep...I research a bunch. But I don't prepare a thesis to just post an article as the op here.

Thank you...

*ETA..I agree with you 100% on research!

Yep. Research is always helpful.
ETA..You didn't no anything about the author, but you let his words influence your opinion of Trump.

Now that you know how this author thinks, does that change your opinion?

That’s not the left at all. The left is anti war. When has there ever been a war protest run by right wing conservatives? You use the term left, but you’re talking about something completely different. And that’s reasonable because the us is so far right that they have no idea what the left really is. Apparently you also don’t know that ngo’s are for fomenting insurgency, rebellion, and economic espionage. Fair enough. I disagree about the libertarian constitutionalist though. Long as the banks are allowed to accumulate interest and exploit producers the system will always end up in the same place. A small group of people reaping all the profits that everyone else creates.

You don't think the OP already had this opinion? I think the article posted just confirmed his thoughts. That's my take on it.

I read it the first time, you know damn well I wasn't asking people if the want their children to be successful, as I said that's a given.

Indeed you did. But your visceral response to my first post, actually highlights the trouble in today's society.

Reading what's not there.

I read this today, and realized at least 1/2 of Americans share this opinion. I thought it was just me. This presidency has me more embarrassed than the Nixon years. Now, Ive said it...let the sound offs begin. M.S.
NOT MY PRESIDENT!

The US media has made an embarrassment out of the US presidency.

No, the current "President" has done that all by himself.

Thats where i disagree.

The US Media is the one pushing anti white hatred wide in the open. The US media is also pushing agendas like promting boy drag queen and accepting as a new normal.

The same US media has being silent on recent issues.

So that user is correct.

The media has a gun to Trump's head making him run at the mouth one tweet at a time on a public profile on a social media site? Gee, I didn't realized Twitter was a forced thing.

What scares me is that the next prez regardless of party will not be Trump. What I mean by this is......I'm sick of the same ol' stereotype politicians that've been in office forever. DC has become nothing more than a city full of bought and paid for pawns that are more representative of a corporate entity than they are any form of a government. They've stopped caring about the very people that hired them and pay their exuberant salaries that afford them their lavish lifestyles of mansions, vacations, champaign and caviar.

For many of us, Trump has been a breath of fresh air for the simple fact he wasn't a politician and actually has a pair. We needed someone to stir the pot and stand up for the average Joe, he's been the perfect guy to do just that, IMO. Washington is f'd up and has been for decades, it's been the same trash in and the same trash out. I don't want to go back to the same stale mentality that DC politicians have held for decades. Trump has changed things around some in DC and it's been very refreshing to watch.

actually that is very leftist. and yes parts of the left can be anti-war, just as parts of the right are as well. although if you want to be honest about it many if not most of those anti-war protests you speak of are, especially all the really big ones from the 60's and 70's were in fact communist supported. and far more about destabilizing the west. especially to destabilize the war efforts against communist (leftist socialism) aggression and takeovers, then actually about peace. and we certainly can't forget about wars and uprisings started and supported be democrat leaders like Obama and Hillary and that's just in the US, forget about all the wars and uprisings around the world started and supported by left leaning governments and countries. in fact you need to also remember that some of the worst modern dictators were leftists, especially socialists. people like Stalin, Mhe Guevara, Mao, Castro, Hitler and many more.

and funny you should mention NGO's fomenting insurgency, rebellion, and economic espionage as well as things like population control. and yet a couple of the very worst offending NGO's are in fact run by leftists. like the Clinton Foundation, run by high rank leftist politicians Bill and Hillary Clinton (with that pay to play money they didn't take for themselves). as well as the Gates foundation which is run by another rich leftist Bill and Melinda Gates. and i know there are bad actors among the right as well. but in all honesty most NGO's especially the smaller religious based ones are not involved in that type of thing, and are actually all about trying to help people.

and while it is true that the right does tend to allow banks and corporations to get rich on the backs of the many, rewarding the rich few. the left is the exact same although the rewards with leftists are generally gained by those at the very top of the leftist governments. while in the end the people they exploit are even worse off.

I've seen these memes before and they are funny but I just had a thought.

Remember the monk that set himself on fire as a protest.

Remember how well that worked.
