Is there anything that every human being could agree on?

Just a good for thought type of question I asked myself.

Is there any one thing, that all 7+ billion of us could all agree on? Given our differ in religion, geographical location, culture, race, ethnicity, gender, age, socioeconomic status, etc...etc...

What could ever unite the world in harmony? For everyone one person who believes in one thing there’s another who believes in the opposite. It’s seemingly impossible to imagine a concept like world peace.

At every layer of humanity there seems to be a yin and a yang. If something becomes popular, there are those who first discover and love it, but as it gains notoriety, they become turned off to it. If something becomes “the way”, there are people who are naturally resistant to it and fight to oppose it.

Does balance create friction? Must there always be war, hate and violence? It’s all rhetorical really. We are but waypoints and facilitators for it’s inevitable outcome.

Thinking outside the realm if perpetual balance, what event could occur where every human being would agree on one single outcome?

Clear ice cold water is good.

I'm not sure on that first one. I bartender as a side gig. The amount of people that ask for water without ice is astounding.

Tacos though. Those are always good.


I would think everyone could agree that oxygen is needed? Haha. Not much of an agreement.

I think humanity would be much better off if we unanimously agreed that the universal objective morality is to live an let live...individual liberties. Murder, violence, theft, etc. may or may not be seen as culturally immoral, but from the perspective of individual liberty, they are violations, which should be prohibited.

I would think everyone could agree that oxygen is needed? Haha. Not much of an agreement.

But there are some who would want to deprive another of oxygen, therefore it’s not universally accepted as necessary.

The world population on January 1, 2018 is estimated to be 7,444,443,881. The world has experienced a population increase of 78,521,283, or 1.07 percent, from New Year’s Day 2017. So........ it's possible that there are no two who agree.

No, there is literally nothing everyone could agree unless it is the fact people will always disagree. I have found that what one person thinks is the solution to all human suffering is another persons idea of a dystopian hell.
