Cool, but why do I keep hearing people say they were long time lurkers before joining? Why should it matter? What difference does it make?

What made you decide to join all of a sudden after or this lurking anyway?

maybe they are scared. social anxiety type of thing. maybe that's why they lurked a lot. I didnt lurk..but i was relatively new here when i joined. i have been to other forums so they are similar in a way.

on the other hand, a scared person would hardly pick a nickname like greylover91. not that you cant love grey..because of the subconscious message it gives..well i am that tough, you know.
we love tough guys here, dont we?

I signed up made a few posts and poor threads then preceded to lurk for years after, mostly because I feared some spy agencies were monitoring the site. So yeah being scared would make sense to me.

But I would like to hear it from the horses mouth which is why I asked. I think grey lover is a reference to alien greys btw but could be wrong.

Welcome, we all lurked before we bought into the whole shebang. Lurking is good...unless it's near a restroom of the opposite sex. Then it's just creepy. See you on the boards.
