David Hogg folks... the deep state's apprentice... the devil's little minion.... [insert David Hogg insult here]... is up to his nasty leftist tricks again, and it's funny as hell.

Parkland survivor and gun control activist David Hogg has teamed up with the liberal Mad Dog PAC to raise thousands of dollars for an anti-Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) billboard in Texas.

A GoFundMe page organized by Hogg and Claude Taylor, the chairman of Mad Dog, topped its $6,000 fundraising goal, raising nearly $10,000 in less than 24 hours.

“President Donald Trump will be campaigning to help Sen. Ted Cruz win his re-election,” the page reads. “A rally is being planned, according to Trump ‘at the biggest stadium in Texas.’ We are planning to display the presidents own words about Cruz from 2016 on a mobile billboard, to remind Texans of the truth.”

Source

Can you imagine?

For those of you unawares.... Teddy Cruz has asked for the president to come down to Texas to campaign for him. Apparently this Beto O'rourke thing is getting serious and he could use the Don to bring down some of his star power. The guy is pretty popular in the Republic of Texas after all so maybe he'll help save Ted's seat? It's still funny though given the stark contrast on where these two stood not too long ago. After the attacks on Ted, his wife and his family one would think Ted would have a backbone or something ya know?

Ah well, if these billboards go ahead it should be pretty funny and possibly politically effective at the same time. Who knows, maybe it will spark the otherside to post quotes from Obama? Maybe bring back the birther billboards asking for his birthcertificate? A war of billboards??

"Raised" That's a good one. They want you to think that they have thousands of people contributing to this. Wasn't there another thread here on how the Liberal Socialists had hundreds of millions of dollars to use against Trump?

That’s hilarious! It probably won’t do much good though. In places like Austin, it’s Beto all the way — but in the widespread conservative areas, Beto is the devil incarnate.

I imagine if a billboard is put up in response, it will have something to do with a couple of skeletons in Beto’s past. He had a DUI, and there was some talk of him trying to leave the scene of a car crash years ago.

I’m voting for Beto, cuz he’s not Ted Cruz.

I was unintentionally involved in a protest a few month ago. The people I met there were locals and were pretty decent. They warned me to stay away from a certain area because of professional protesters that were bussed in. I wondered then who's footing the bill? Now I'm wondering if some of that money is being spent to have people make posts like this one.

Why would a billboard change anyone's mind to begin with?

pretty much the same reason inane OPs by some will not change the minds of those of us that think for themselves.

To save his seat, I wouldn't be surprised if Cruz let Trump bang his wife. That is how smarmy these guys are. You know the type. I hate you, until I need you, type. Sad!

Didn't Cruz's father kill another President? LOL!

There are some people under the impression that Russian trolls on Facebook did just that.

Well, Russian trolls did cause me to vote for Trump because I wasn't smart enough to differentiate between candidates and Hillary's plan to raise taxes.

So maybe a billboard will change minds.

Let me try to get this straight:

Cruz wants Trump to come campaign for him after Trump puts out a tweet like this.

WHY would Cruz want him speaking for him? If I knew someone who said stuff in that vein about me, they'd be the LAST person I'd put down as a job reference.

Plus- WHY would Trump, after putting out that tweet, come and campaign for him at all?

There is a whole lot of stuff that isn't making sense here.

I was wondering why he'd let him speak for him. Suddenly, it makes sense.

I think I need a shower. I feel dirty considering it. :/

That's why I couldn't do politics. Mortal enemies one day, lifelong buds the next.

I remember Bush 1 vs. Clinton. But it's all good now.

I remember Bush 2 vs. Kerry. Water under the bridge.

I remember McCain vs. Obama. Who could have predicted in 2008 that they would both be saints in 2018?

Ten years from now, democrats will say that Trump was at least an OK guy. If he speaks out against whoever is running for President as a republican in 2028, he'll be a wise, elder statesman.

The tweet is from 2016.

It's politics. If you can comprehend the nature of it, perhaps a remedial class on it?

Go watch two lawyers duke it out in court, then watch as they walk up to each other, shake hands and grab lunch lmfao.

The OP standard hit piece tactics are comical and as no one gives a crap about Hogg or the fact that they raised thousands to put an old tweet up while ignoring the bigger issues in society that money could have been used for.

I will say this, both San Antonio and Austin have lots of Beto signs, but these are the liberal strongholds of Texas and they have always been agaisnt Cruz, yet despite these big cities, NADA MAS 😌

In a word politics. Trump did those tweets back in the primary race. You try to win the primary by beating your opponents.

He won and won bigly.

People ask for political help from people who will help them get elected or help their chances.

Cruz obviously feels Trump Stumping for him improves his chances.

Trump would rather have a Republican Texas Senator than a Democratic one.

It's a no brainer.

Is Clinton stumping for Beto? Why?

It's not that hard to figure out.

Does it make sense now?
