It wasn't "Trump's" decision. It was a law passed by congress, which the President was compelled to carry out. There was an exemption (delay) to allow for a peace process/negotiations, which has stalled and accomplished nothing over several decades. But since it is clear the Palestinians aren't interested in real negotiations with reasonable expectations, Trump decided to not take the delay clause and instead carry out Congress' will (along with the stated will of each former President, including Obama/Clinton)

Facts matter

Weird definition.

The real dictionary describes it as:

Definition of anti-Semitic
: relating to or characterized by anti-Semitism : feeling or showing hostility toward or discrimination against Jews as a cultural, racial, or ethnic group anti-Semitic statements/rhetoric

www.merriam-webster.com...

The real question is why you try to minimize the Jews so much? Looks like we got ourselves another palestinian/arab apologist.

But, I'm certain that as soon as the palestinians stop attacking Israel/Israeli citizens then Israel will cease giving them a proper retaliatory "pasting" every single time. States and individuals have a sovereign, unalienable right to self-defense.

Thank you for your post. Truth is such a wonderful thing.

Truth is a wonderful thing. Yet there isn't one truth about Israel here. Nothing but virulent lies, hate and anti-Israeli misinformation/propaganda.

Palestinians = the professional victims of the M/E (we have a few of those groups here too)

So he decided or didn't decide? You're saying 2 things here.

He decided to carry out Congress' sovereign will. The same thing every past President for 2 decades (or more) has pledged.

Only thing is, unlike those liars Trump actually carried it out. Just like he said he would.

The embassy move was one reason we elected him. Time to end the Arab farce, which seeks only to destroy/discredit/de-legitimze Israel. Any delays we give them causes direct harm to Israel. Take a look at the degenerate "BDS" terrorist movement for a list of their stated goals.

Too bad Israel isn't a push-over like the entire far-left, and won't allow islamic terror to go unpunished.

Equally thankful that the massive power of the US war machine stands 110% behind our ally Israel, unconditionally and without apology.

Did You happen to catch the part where it is against TheTorah™ to occupy any "Homeland" that wasn't given to them by The Creator? It was TheCreator that took the 'homeland' and it is up to TheCreator to give back any homeland?

Who was garnering the most sympathy after WWII?

Thanks for the propaganda. The MIC would thank you to. You did make my point however. He DID make this decision. Your words.

Might have something to do with the systematic oppression, torture and murder of millions.

You think slavery or Japanese internment in the US was bad? (they were, without a doubt. however....) Watch some of the videos when the US army liberated Nazi death camps. Buchenwald, Auschwitz, among countless camps each seeing unlimited atrocity.

It has nothing to do with "sympathy" and everything to do with this:

NEVER. AGAIN.

intrepid I know you are intelligent and well researched, and I concede that you are at least technically correct. Trump made the decision to implement Congress' resolution on relocating the US embassy within Israel

However, this was also a campaign promise by Obama, Bush, Clinton, GHWB, etc. Problem is that before Trump, each President lied to the American people and did not move the embassy. Trump simply followed through with what he promised and what Congress ordered

The fact Hamas and their Hezbollah dogs threatened violence over this shows they were never serious about the peace process.

Any person, group or nation who professes the desire to "wipe Israel off the map" doesn't deserve to be taken seriously by any world class power. The people chanting "Death to America! Death to Israel!" are not our friends. But the ones standing against their Islamo-fascist brand of tyranny are.

I have to say I am not following your train of thought.

You've linked to Jews United Against Zionism but in the same breath comment on abortion.

What does being against zionism have to do with opinions regarding abortion?

Zionism is a political practice that advocates and takes action to secure the future of Israel as the home of the Jewish people.

Do they not deserve a home? An exclusive cultural identity? Liberty?

He owns his choices and actions 100%, yes. But it is Congress that passed the law to move the embassy to Jerusalem.

I've now heard the left complain about Trump ignoring Congress and others complaining about him listening to Congress. Which is it?

Should he defy the law or discharge his office/oath by enacting/enforcing the laws passed by Congress?

God may not have a religion, but it doesn't follow that our experience of the true cosmic God would be anything but religious.

I understand what you're saying.

But the problem I have with religion is organized religion in society, where religious institutions have power over people, because of the fear which is part of the human condition, and therefore leaders within these institutions can be wolves in sheep's clothing.

These days, most religious institutions have about as much real power as chess clubs.

Religions have no enforcement officers. You can simply walk away at any time.

People have a vast array of fears that have nothing to do with religion. Pain, death, confined spaces, heights, crowds, clowns, doom porn, all sorts of stuff.

Most fears are invalid.

People will also gladly go to watch movies that entertain with fear. We enjoy it. Fear has little to do with religion. As far as I can tell, some religion alleviates some fears.

Perhaps ATS s controlling you through fear?

Or perhaps the excuse you tell yourself is invalid?

My personal perspective is slightly worse than that.

I utterly despise organised religion and all other cults. And they should Crownaught.

We have freedom of religion and freedom of speech.

Seems you don't like that - tough, you aren't in charge.

It’s not surprising at all..

The vast majority of American Jews are liberals...

It is actually Christian conservatives who are the “isreal can do no wrong “ group in the US..

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Interpreting scripture to immunize certain groups from criticism is a policy for disaster. One of my biggest complaints about Jerry Falwell back in the 80's (and Israel was up to their neck in misdeeds; Sabra & Shatilla massacres, Lebanon invasion).

Try to imagine being a pubescent child knowing the world was going to end in 1975. That was terrifying.

Try being someone who reads on ATS that the world will end every three months.

The Torah™ originally instructed them to take their 'promised land' by force, which they did. Nowhere in the Torah™ does God say that it is not their 'promised land' anymore.

You realize Israel was the Jewish homeland before the Arabs forcefully removed the Jews?

They returned to the land post-occupation, and it wasn't taken by force. Israel was returned to the Jewish people by the British empire, who controlled that territory after the Ottomans. The Jewish peoples' claim is evidenced by the Islamic holy site build on top of the Jewish one.
