Something interesting caught on dashcam

I was looking through articles today,and stumbled upon this:
Drone Boat?
This apparently was taken on the M1 in Australia.
To me it looks like a fixed wing (possibly unmanned) transport with a boat underneath of it.
Or some kind of gigantic rocket or torpedo.
Thoughts?
Fake video?
Has this already been discussed?

Looks like a home made sea “plane” ultralight looks like the just mounted a John boat to the bottom of the ultralight.

They're doing that down here too ... Florida keys ... It's a small zodiac type boat attaches to a para glider with an engine . They take off from the water and can zip around in the air . It's a make shift sea plane with a small boat under it .

It's an ultralight modified for water use. They put a boat instead of pontoons.

I looked more into, and was about to request a mod this thread be deleted.

On the plus side, I went up to Beale last week, and got to watch some epic touch and gos.
As soon as my DSLR connects to my phone, I'll be uploading those photos and actually give you guys something worth while.
But I got to capture a single seat and dual seat U-2's doing low circle patterns, and a T-38.
Hoping to get them up shortly.

Bullseye so I was pretty close it’s a factory produced ultralight John boat combo, pretty neat actually I wouldn’t mind playing with one with all the lakes down here.

Dec- I love the 5th Element! Well chris tucker went a little too annoying but still a great flick, I’m gonna bust out my Blu-ray of it sometime today so thank you for your inadvertent advertisement for the movie, worked for me!

ETA: The more I think about the design the more I like it could serve double duty as an swamp type airboat without the para deployed.

It would have solved my commute from the Isle of Wight to the mainland. Having to take a taxi, ferry/hovercraft, train and taxi each way drove me nuts. I kept looking for alternative ways like hiring a speedboat to get across.

Make friends with your neighborhood drug runners you might make some interesting friends and get a nice speedy commute.
