Synchronicity - eg. The TV speaking to you

A couple of years back I was reading. As I read the words "gotta keep 'em busy", someone on the TV said the exact same phrase, in the exact same way, at the exact time I read it.

That was weird.

Synchronicity is a fascinating topic. I'm still undecided whether it's a real thing or just my mind recognising patterns and making connections which only seem special because I pay them attention. I guess the thought that makes me doubtful they are meaningful occurrences is "why am I so special and worthy of catching the Universe's attention, 7 billions others can't also be having meaningful coincidences, can they?"
