Could have this triggered the tsunami's?

Nope and highly unlikely.
It was definately an earthquake, that is if your refering to the Indonesian Tsunami(s).
Ship probing ocean bed at quake epicenter

Nope. The tsunami was on the 26th. The starburst arrived on the 27th. It was a day late.

No, it's not possible in anyway. This idea is already being discussed in one of the thread about the magnetar.

A.) If "gravity waves" or gamma rays caused it, the would have set off the entire hemisphere that was facing in its direction.

2.) Those things travel at the speed of light, so they would have had to arrive at the time of the earthquake anyway.

If a Gamma Ray burst could have caused this, a Tsunami would be the
least of your worries. It would be the ultimate "natural" disaster, no warning
and complete annihilation.
