im from canada with universal healthcare and its straight up garbage, even traveled to the US a couple times for ER visits believe it or not.

I'm currently getting fantastic treatment at my local NHS hospital, in the last couple of weeks I've had numerous blood tests, CT/MRI scans, ECG's, and I'm having a heart monitor fitted for a week in a couple of days.
I wouldn't change our system and I always have the choice of private. I just wish we trained more doctors and nurses ourself instead of poaching the best from poorer nations after they have funded the training.
