I like Lacuna Coil ALOT.....saw them live in Portland Oregon way back when......when they were touring with POD i think.....after their set they came down and just rocked out with us on the floor....totally laid back normal people while also being rock stars......very nice personally as well....just talked to you and looked in your eyes when they did....signing everything very willingly and shook hands posed in pics etc....

Like i said earlier i listen to everything , well almost everything, i havent listened to baby metal yet but have had others tell me to check it out so i guess i need to get on that.....maybe im afraid ill actually like it? perhaps!!!!

It's all good, we are all metalheads together!

We don't do that east coast vs west coast or gangsta vs hip-hop stuff.

Like the Overkill song - In Union We Stand - in agreement and disagreement!

Dang there goes 30 minutes on YouTube watching Overkill videos now!

I always struggle with the switch from clean to cookie monster...

I'd really dig this Jinger if they stuck with the clean. But, I do like that ESP in the video
Generally, I prefer variety within the Cookie:

For the heavier side with female vocals, I prefer a band like Once Human:

For switching between Clean and Cookie, I like a more cohesive overall sound like Sikth:

Or, pretty much anything from bands like Tesseract. Though, I tend to go towards a blend of technicality and melody with "standards" like Necrophagist or Obscura

Nice to see some good metal discussion and links here! I'm with Serdgiam in being more into technical and heavier stuff.
