President Trump has repeatedly stated that he has NO plans to fire BOB MUELLER, who is investigating if Russia interfered in our 2016 election, or his boss, Assistant Attorney General ROD ROSENSTEIN. The White House once again confirmed this, 2 days ago.
Source - thehill.com...

But suddenly over the past 2 days, Democrats are hyperventilating, and declaring that if President Trump fires either Rosenstein or Mueller, a "CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS" will consume our nation.
Durbin's Warning to DJT - www.realclearpolitics.com...

QUESTION: What is a "Constitutional Crisis"? Would it cause riots, a coup of some type, or the imposition of Martial Law? Senator Dick Durbin makes it sound like a U.S. Civil War would break out.

nothing would happen. They say that stuff for ratings and donations. You're watching a show.

It's certainly not working for DONATIONS. Did you see that the National Democratic Headquarters only has $400,000 in it's coffers? Either there's no money coming in... or the DNC executives have blown it all...or both.

Hillary bought the DNC and now she's not there to funnel money into it.

As for the OP there would be no crisis. It's hyperbole to counteract the rights hyperbole. This is all just pageantry.

It's a crisis because the democrats got caught prison-raping the Constitution.

So yes, the Constitution is in crisis because the Obama administration and the DNC and Hillary were abusing it.

Then why would firing Rosenstein or Mueller exacerbate the situation?

Firing them would create riots in the streets, needless deaths, and would still be appropriate, because democrats don't want Trump.

Hell, if they could assassinate him now, they would.

And yes, I went there.

Understood. Then I fall back on the thread I started yesterday, stating that the DOJ needs to impanel a Federal Grand Jury, or hire a Special Prosecutor to investigate the Swamp. That will shut a lot of them up.

That trump will use his constitutional powers to subvert and attack the biparisan law enforcement branches..

I'm sure the people who made the laws of this country, gave the President those powers for a reason. If Americans don't think that's a good idea at this point in time, we could petition Congress to change those rules.

Constitutional Crisis?

Yeah, they're (Dems) worried citizens still remember it and regard it as the highest law of the land.

This pesky constitution is quite the wrench in the gears.

You bring up a good point. Democrats warning us of a Constitutional Crisis, are unwittingly causing many citizens to look up info on the U.S. constitution. So we could look at their whining in a positive light, on a couple of fronts. Thanks!

The words dont mean what they think they mean.

If there were a "constitutional crisis", we would need to hold a constitutional convention to amend the constitution and fix the issue.

SO if we hold a constitutional convention at this time, the Republicans now in the strong majority will riddle the Constitution with so many counter-Democrat aligned amendments that their heads will spin.

Its a double edged sword not to be taken lightly.

Democrats are in NO POSITION to hold a constitutional convention.

LOL

Go ahead !

Thankyou for that education lesson! It's evident that you're a forward thinker, and that Democratic leaders "think" very shallow.

Breaking The Law by Criminals in the Federal Government is the REAL Constitutional Crisis ! What Up Wit Dat ?

Most definitely! It's too bad We The People don't insist that those law-breakers be punished. I guess Americans are too forgiving.

Re: The DNC being Broke, Thankyou for reminding me of something..

I recall Donna Brazil describing in her "tell all" book how Hillary's people kept most of the money that came into the DNC, in an account that was separate from the DNC general fund. Hillary viewed herself as the head of the Democratic party and felt that SHE was the reason for all the donations received. She exercised complete control over the $$$. When she lost, that account and the cash left with her.

Democrats know that if they removed Donald Trump from office, President Mike Pence and A.G. Jeff Sessions team up, and get rid of Marijuana, Cigarettes, Brothels, Porn Websites, and liquor that's stronger than beer.

Just thinking, when was the last street riot? Seems people got other things to do right now...like go to work...lol under Obama we saw the 99%ers and the police protesters and all of that is gone now. At the beginning of Trump we saw the ANTIFA, anarchists and extreme left doing all their protests and riots, and once again where are they now? Rather quit outside of the liberal politicians all trying to rally up the forces and they seem to be calm and content right now.

That's what I want to know too.

I'd do it if I was Prez and I had the legal powers.

I think Trump does have the powers to fire all of them.

He has the Power to tell Sessions to prosecute them also.

The right to a speedy trial would take on new meaning.

Because if Trump exercised his constitutionally granted powers, the dems would freak about abuse of power.

If cleaning up the swamp is "abuse of power", then more power to the abuser.

Here's a HOT weekend item, that the MSM isn't reporting. But they'll HAVE TO soon.

What they are doing, surely, is using the Watergate analogy.
Nixon fired a Special Prosecutor, people started jumping on the "Impeach" bandwagon.
They overlook the fact that they don't have enough evidence of wrongdoing to get the Republicans on board.

A real constitutional crisis occurs when different elements of the constitution are in conflict; if the President obstructs the powers of Congress or vice-versa.

What part of "he's not firing..." are you having trouble with?

As for the subverting and attacking the bipartisan law enforcement who are investigating him? I've been wondering on whos behalf they're investigating him? ...and just how bipartisan has the FBI, or the higher ups within it, shown themselves to be...? No very.
