This whole book thing and timing and "fury" seems like a weird partisan propaganda show.
I don't like Trump, at all, but...I won't be reading this book.

You won't have to....it will be splashed all over the media until November 2018. The GOP will be in total denial of any connection with Trump.
"Fury" is just the beginning of the end....

Besides a few blips on facebook, the only way I'll know about it is here on ATS and I'll try to stay out of those threads. Like this one, we're really not discussing the specifics. I can handle that. LOL

I'm on back order for "fury" on Amazon. They can't keep up with the demand.
I'll keep you filled in with all the lurid details when I read it.
I'm sure that's very true but he is smart enough to realize that the bias is so strong in this country right now all he has to do is put a bunch of negative things down on paper and people will pay money to read it... even if the only people they can share the information with are people who are already believe the same things ....it's totally ridiculous how these people hate Trump so much that they will pay money to read negative things about him even if they're not true

Anybody else noticed Wolf isn't fit to be a writer......

There is embellishment and there is exaggeration-I believe this book is the latter.
Look at movies like Goodfellas that are based on a true story but glossed over to make it seem more tense or larger than life. I've read the true story to the movie Bridge of spies (which sadly I haven't seen yet) and that is a true story and those stories were embellished.
But then you have exaggerations, like the movie 300. Yes there were only 300 spartans, but they were aided by several thousand greek soldiers against less than 220 thousand-much less than the fables suggest.
Trump might not be the smartest cookie cutter in the cupboard but unless there is evidence this book is just an exaggeration of his previous works, and if no one can back up his claims no publisher would throw the author a bone let alone another book deal.
Wolff explained that in the Trump White House, "everybody is telling you different stories," or rather "lying in their own particular way," so he had to use his "judgment" to discern.......
"That's the alarming thing, that this is all true."
And she noted that his unconventional reporting style, which entailed placing “himself at the centre of the story”, exposed him to criticism from other reporters.
“Much to the annoyance of his critics, columns aren’t recreated so much as created – springing from Wolff’s imagination rather than from actualknowledge of events. Even Wolff acknowledges that conventional reporting isn’t his bag.
Rather, he absorbs the atmosphere and gossip swirling around him at cocktail parties, on the street, and especially during those long lunches at Michael’s,” a glittering Manhattan restaurant, she wrote.
and if no one can back up his claims no publisher would throw the author a bone let alone another book deal.

I agree of the stupidity letting Jared and junior running the show. Taking him to court would probably give more publicity and negatively impact on the coming mid terms perhaps. If Trump could sue but delay proceedings till after the elections would be a better strategy.
why is this partisan to you? He quoted people he admits he never interviewed. You have no problem with that?

Trump is more afraid of what Wolff has on tape than what's in the book. The WH is in total melt down and now even more of staff and advisers are going to bail.

As a writer I'm sure you have audio for these statements from Trump and some WH sources? Those are some pretty insider view points that you are stating. I can see why you have no problem with the way Wolff throws crap in a book and lets the reader decide what is true and what is not.
