Born and raised in the 'bush' could say im more Australian than you if my head were that big..I dont know why you would care that i use backwoods instead of bush or outback, trees are woods...there were a lot of trees... it was in the back part of an area called railway avenue therefore backwoods??

Semantics aside you are obviously not local to the area in with which i speak otherwise you indeed would have heard of the lizard men stories.
