You've got that backward. When the libtards find it a white male it is all over the news obviously, they have nothing to pin on the law-abiding American and as anyone knows his 3 guns are NOTHING.

Wow that was offensive

This whole incident was purely routine police work. If the guy had been in a 1 story motel it wouldn't even be in the news. But because he was lodged in an upper floor- all of a sudden he's the next vegas shooter wannabe.

This is just hyperbolic b.s. because people are looking for attention for their social media accounts.

Everything about this is BS

A rifle, pistol, and shotgun arent a small aresenal.

There is nothing unusual about havimg guns in a hotel (i run hotels....i know).

This is a fear stoke. Plain and simple

Imagine if this was a Muslim or black person and all the wild theories that would be happening in this thread. They would scour the internet and leave no stone unturned until they found some link to BLM or ISIS, no matter how small the link was.

White person with weapons (although they are usually mass shooters) then nothing to see here.

You have used that slippery slope to conflate a race bait out of thin air.

Ridiculous and pathetic.

Nothing much to add to the story today other than a little bit of information trickling out from local news sources 2 News (NBC), abc13 News, 11 News Houston (CBS).

The non-news is that Russell Lawrence Ziemba is a disabled Army veteran who according to his wife suffers from PTSD.
From his own admission as well as from a neighbor of his he has been drinking for several days and prior to his stay at the Hyatt Regency had tried to enter the neighbor's house a few times in the middle of the night. The only additional report on his "arsenal" is that of him also having a crossbow in his truck.

That is all for now. Go back to recovering from your New Years celebrations.

Let's see...

Nothing happened. The guns weren't fired. As far is known, pending further investigation, nothing untoward was intended.

Wow... Why is this news, again?

Truly, nothing to see here, move along to the next fear mongering opportunity.

Let's see, the guns were apparently not fired at any time while at the hotel. This doesn't mean that there was no plan on using them. The person owning the guns was too drunk to explain to the police why he had the guns in his room other than just for safe keeping.

Yes, none of the above is news but the incident had the potential of becoming a sad story for people celebrating NYE at the Hyatt. Now that would have been news.

Cheers everyone for the new year anyway.

Pending further investigation, there is really no story here.

There may be. There may not be. Before we jump to conclusions, let's see if we can find out what was, or was not, going to happen.

...and a happy New Year to you, as well!!

Americans are out of control, clearly something needs to be done to save them from themselves, we need an invasion force to go in and take out the radicals.

you are more than welcome to try and be the tip of that spear
come on boy, come and get it !

sounds to me like he may have been prepared for a tri gun competition. Was there a competition or tournament he was on the way too that he was just too drunk to explain??

Another story from yesterday on a local station. He was arrested just before Christmas at a bar in a small town just out of Houston for unlawfully carrying a weapon - may have had it in the bar.
