Its not all that surprising given what a cluster the USN (esp the Pacific Fleet) has been. But now comes another cruel blow it seems. U.S. Air Force Gen. Terrence O’Shaughnessy, a former F-16 pilot and current commander of the Pacific Air Forces, is the front runner to take over the entire Pacific Command. this would be the first time in history that it was not filled by a member of the US Navy. Perhaps this is exactly what the Pacific Fleet needs to bootstrap itself back to basic standards

Ouch the fighter mafia in chagre of the navy? Holy hell they screw up in the Air Force. I cant imagine one in charge of Naval logistics they can barely handle large aircraft and Air Force logistics.

With McCain on SASC? Not likely. The AF is lucky they get funding with him around.

a reply to: Pyle

They can't screw it up worse than the Navy already has.

The US Navy is the most cullpable USA Military branch involved in the JFK Coup de tat.........this branch is out of control and has been for many decades.......it will be cleaned out and nope the internal poisons will NOT simply be trojan horsed into the next branch of the Military entrusted with the greatest responsibilities.

The US navy will soon fall into historical disgrace....one which will echo for generations......the only saving grace will be the volume of new technology and advantages to the American people which will be ripped out of their crooked little rotten hands......no more hiding behind the excuse of National Security.
