He was a quite man.

He was caring.

He was kind.

I wanted a quite future with him.

Marilou Danley came back to the U.S. and was questioned by the FBI for several hours.

A lawyer had some comments, but no real information.

She apparently had no knowledge of anything about the shooting and maybe not even the gun collection.

She claims he got her a cheap plane ticket so she could go home and see her family.

And apparently the $100,000 transfer happened and was for a house for her and her family in the Philippines.

Anybody believe any of this?

Gotta wonder what else was "discussed" during her meeting that took hours and the lawyer took a few minutes to explain.

Las Vegas gunman's girlfriend describes Stephen Paddock as 'kind, caring, quiet man'

The girlfriend of the Las Vegas mass murderer has described him as a "kind, caring, quiet man" as Donald Trump arrived in the city to comfort the victims.

Marilou Danley was interviewed by FBI agents on Wednesday in a bid to discover Stephen Paddock's motive, which remains a mystery.

There was no evidence at this point to indicate that the mass shooting was terrorism, FBI Special Agent in Charge Aaron Rouse told a news conference, adding no one had been taken into custody as a suspected accomplice.

Got a source for that claim?

Who am I kidding, of course you don't.

Why couldn't this be added to one of the 15+ threads already discussing it?

Again, her comments as shared with the public just don't make sense. She had to have seen all the stuff he collected and a neighbor stated that they had hardly any furnishings in their house and how he had changed in the past couple of years.

She is hiding or deluded or just flat out lying because of this heinous crime. She saw things-she might have been afraid of him plus he had money = power.

I don't understand people saying he led a double life. She saw-unless she is mentally retarded she knows more than she is willing to tell-at this time.

The guy supposedly bought 30 rifles since the end of October.

You don't buy that many just for you.... seriously, especially high-end.

You buy that many when you plan to equip others if needed.

He/she said, and I quote: "She sounds like a CIA plant"

"Sounds" is the key word there, as in, his/her opinion.

Therefore He/she is the source (unedited).

Well, the fact that she came back at all would seem to make certain hypotheses less likely. There's been some speculation on ATS that she could have been "his ISIS handler."

I'm thinking that she wouldn't have risked coming back to the US if that were the case or if she had any reason to believe that she could be implicated in any way at all.

Do we honestly think anything is going to come out of the months and months of speculation this whole thing will end up causing? What's done is done, if it was anything more than what we are being led to believe then we will never get proof for it. It is serving its purpose and that is to make people speculate all these wild theories while more important issues are ignored.

Both sides are being played in this whole thing in my opinion, the sheer ambiguity of the shooter only guarantees no solid answer will come forward.

When I was growing up, one of my mom's best friends, whose children were friends of mine, was married to a short haul truck driver.

They seemed perfectly happy. We used to go for cookouts in the summer. Kids adored their father.

Right up until it was discovered that he had a "second family" a county over.

Except that the murder of 50 and wounding of 500+ is definitely Interpol territory. She'd be hunted to the rest of her days.

This way she may be thinking she can play dumb spouse.

Thats a bunch of crap, he was verbally abusive to her in public.

looking...

Found this...

Employees at a Starbucks in Mesquite, Nev., however, described the couple’s relationship differently. A supervisor at the coffee shop told the Los Angeles Times that Paddock often berated Danley in public. The Starbucks is the only one in town and is inside the Virgin River Casino.

“It happened a lot,” Esperanza Mendoza, supervisor of the Starbucks, told the Times. He would verbally abuse her when Danley asked to use his casino card to buy food or other things inside the casino, Esperanza said.

“He would glare down at her and say — with a mean attitude — ‘You don’t need my casino card for this. I’m paying for your drink, just like I’m paying for you.’ Then she would softly say, ‘Okay’ and step back behind him. He was so rude to her in front of us.”

Nothing about this situation seems to make sense in the traditional mass killer shooter way. Most Millionaires don't do the killings, they hire others to do it. He didn't seem to be a gun collector till recently. Doesn't fit the profile of other crazed gunman ect. None of it adds up. Hopefully some details will start to make sense of this all.

I know Starbucks isn't a bank (more like a gold mine really.. lol) but did they have cameras in there to substantiate " the many times" this occurred?

I will say its always hard to make sense of the actions of a madman.

To me, the (however unlikely) parallels to the Newtown shooting are many.
