They are a ton of great cooks on ATS. Home cooks, pro cooks, grill cooks, bread bakers and dessert makers.

This thread is a homage to Augustus' part 1 food porn thread that isn't getting as much movement as it once did.

The OG Food porn thread

It is also about the celebration of cooking, family, friends, hard work and being thankful for who we are and what we have.

I am now doing a lot of Charcuterie at work and will post pics as I can. I would love to see anything and everything you want to post. There is no such thing as a bad food pic. Let's see them all. From the late night drinking pics to the silver spoon dinners. This food porn thread wants it all. Leave your ego at the door and let's get cooking!

Here is a pic of some kielbasa, bratwurst and beef salami hanging.

Here are some merguez just stuffed hanging on dowels.

Here's some stone ground grits I made this morning. The grits are from NC barkleys mill. They are amazing. They took a good 45 minutes to make.

I remember back in the day, we had a few Hungarian/Polish butcher shops who made their own sausages. Every Christmas I can remember going to one to get smoked sausages and Kielbasa. What a lost art, the sausage maker.

Thanx, I'm trying my best. I'm focusing all my energy on charcuterie. Let's see where I am in 5 years.

If you are interested in kielbasa a good book is great sausage recipes and meat curing by rytek Kutas.

Waaaaa. I really want to share pics but the ats uploader doesn’t like my photo format from my iPhone. I can’t even upload to my iMac because it gives me the same error message about only image files supported. Anyone have any idea? I use my iPhone for pics and I have tons of food pics I can’t share!

I will follow this thread though for some yummy food pics and please share recipes!

All I can think of to upload pics is that you need to always allow cookies and trust this site. Sorry I'm not much help on that front.

I need to come visit you at some point, that charcuterie looks stupid good. I specifically want the merguez to make Moroccan Bus Station Eggs.

I taught the guy at our local wood-fired pizzeria how to make these and he sent over a dish on Friday on the house, very tasty.

Ummm...yummm...I made some natural casing sausage a few months back...a couple of large pork butts and some hot Italian seasoning...needless to say they didn't last long and they were soooooo delicious...

Thank you for the reminder...it's time to make some more...

We had a nice cab, I can't remember the brand though.

I try to never get the same one twice unless I really, really like it. There are so many to choose from, I love it.

I think I'm going to make some rosemary gnocchi and lamb ragu Friday. I haven't cooked in a couple weeks so I'm craving pasta.

Sounds good to me! I don't cook often. I'm spoiled. My father in law is a personal chef for some very wealthy people and my wife went to school for it and also learned from him. So I'm always getting great meals.

I usually have no clue what I'm doing I just wing it. The funny part is, when I do cook my wife absolutely loves it but I can never make the same meal twice. So the rare 'Daddy Dinner' nights are kinda special. Kids usually enjoy it also.

As long as you're having fun and using fresh ingredients you're light years ahead of most people.

One of my wife's favorite things is funnel cake. Only gets it once a year when the fair comes along. Well this year by the time we finished doing rides and all the things for the kids, the funnel cake place was closed. She was upset about it so when we got home I went in the kitchen and figured it out.

Now I'm on the hook for funnel cakes

That's how that stuff happens.

Me: 'Pick up a loaf of bread.'

Wife: 'Cant you just bake some?'
