Bill Gates?

Didn't Gates have to approach IBM, and didn't his mother have some connections there as well??? I had also heard he apprached DEC first but since the president of DEC was on vacation in Europe and nothing could be done without him Bill went to IBM.

As far as him not giving credit to the people who developed the software why should he Its his company and they chose to sell out to him or work for him as an employee under terms that they agreed to.
