He had that room full of people at least. But that hardly equates to a lot of public support. Besides that, the law is supposed to apply regardless of public support for those who break it. It's not a popularity contest after all. This is why people in power act corrupt and do the things the do without consequences. Because people seem to think some are above the law and will cheer for criminals when they're released. F*ck That!!!

If you don't hold the people in power accountable when they are affecting the lives of so many others, how can you expect anyone else to follow the law??? It's hypocrisy and nobody is a fan of that and they notice when it's happening.
