CASE

Russian ufologist Boris Shurinov told in 1995 that there was a case of flying men in Tbilisi, that he personally knows militia major A. Boukhrachvili, single witness of the occurrence. One night of February 1978, this major awoke around 3 a.m. because of a tooth ache. He was going to get some drug in the kitchen when he saw by the window an object of a strange shape flying in the direction of his house, which is on a strong rise compared to the nearby houses. Sure to see a new secret aircraft of the army, he came out on the veranda for better following the flight of the unknown object, but it was lost on the side of the mountains behind his house. It is at this time, head looking up, that the major noticed two black spots in the sky; which he initially mistook for birds but they proved to be two men in diving-suits who landed on the veranda, "They were in one moment standing in front of me", he said. One was taller than the other, about two meters tall. They had their eyes behind a transparent plate of their helmets. According to the witness, they spoke a very good Georgian language. He heard them, at his own amazement since they had helmets which entirely covered their faces and which only let their eyes seen, though very vaguely through what he called a "glass". The sky men proposed him to leave with them and the major answered that he would agree on the condition of taking his wife and children with them. While speaking with them, he sought some manner of getting his revolver inside the house. Boris Shurinov says he knows that during his career, the witness risked his life more than one once by making incredible things in face of imminent danger, but this time all was different: "I was at their mercy. No possibility of defending myself, absolutely powerless... I talked to win some time, I invited them into the house. My last argument: 'I cannot leave with you because of my cardiac disorder.'" He had indeed complained for a certain time about his heart. The tallest then spread an arm with something which at the touch had the shape of a small cube, "a dice", said the witness, who put it in the mouth yielding to the authorities of tallest. The witness does not remember how their hands and the feet looked like. Boris Shurinov was puzzled about that, the major replied that "When you feel the potential danger emanating from the person opposite you, you do not have time to check his hands and his arms. You look at the eyes without losing his hands and his feet from sight but it is instinctive. I took this 'dice' automatically." Just at this time, the witness heard a signal, a whistling sound. He does not know how, but he is sure to have heard this whistling sound. The two men tightened their hands "as if they obeyed a command 'the hands on the seam!'" and flew away to become two black spots in the sky and to disappear in the direction followed earlier by the unknown object. The next day, the major began his working day with a visit to his chief, who listened to the report without asking any question and without taking any action to follow-up on the story. At the time of Shurinov's stay in Tbilisi, a doctor of medicine, friend of the major, teased him exceeding all the acceptable limits even between friends. When Shurinov remained only with the doctor the latter noted: "Oh well, one can say whatever one wants but, strangely, he does not speak any more about his heart!"

this is an rare report of an humanoid by an military witness, most reports of this type you see in the web are fake, so it nice to see an real one
the description of the humanoids is very interesting with the antennae and black suit evoking an appearence of an bug or maybe an bird as the witness said
the "dice" just like similar objects shown to the witness in similar cases disappeared perpetuating the mistery

Thank you for fixing this it really did help quite a bit, and, it was a very interesting read, I really ALWAYS enjoy your stuff, you find the strangest stuff. Thanks also for taking the time to post the stories you do, it always reminds me of the 60's when the tabloids had these crazy stories (true or not) and back then I bought them and wanted to believe (and probably did) what they printed! Most of the 60's, 70's, and 80's stuff was different than the cookie cutter stories of today, just like your story here.

Keep doing this, I bet you have a lot more readers than you think.

I just meant that your stories that you find are bringing back the good ol' days for me, they entertain me, the tabloids entertained me too, the earlier days before 'the grays' entertained me, now all of the aliens look alike from what I read.
What your stories, as you say, bring high strangeness, which I didn't know how much I missed until you post them.
All of what I say is a compliment, I am not laughing at the stories, I love them, I really am not a believer anymore, I wish I was though.

I apologize for not getting back to you, I had no idea you replied, more than likely you won't know about my reply, but, I did...

I have been told about Jacques Vallee and John Keel from others here, I just haven't read up on that, maybe I will.
Really, my interest has waned in the years I have been away from ufology, maybe I will be bored and remember this and catch up on all of this.
