What the heck makes you 'white'?

I've never understood racism. I don't get why the colour of your skin or your biological history means you're greater or less than anyone else.

In my opinion, your actions today determines who you are, not whatever of your ancestors did 1000 years ago, 200 years ago, or during or before you were born.

What I REALLY don't understand is white pride in the way we see neo-nazi's portray it.

What makes someone a "pure blood white American". Can that even be a thing?

The whole Jewish thing makes no sense to me either. It's a religion, not a race. A white person can be Jewish, a black person can be Jewish.

I'm visually white, adopted into a Jewish family, whom are also all white.

I just don't get it...

This is a multiple choice answer - take your pick:

1. A lack of vitamin D.

2. Peoples insecurities being projected onto others.

3. Mum and Dad doing what they do on the discovery channel.

I'm pink in colour.

Sick to death of colour politics. You get it worse in the States with the history and the divisive politics.

I'm more vexed and concerned with culturalism. I hate cultures that hate women, that's my starter for ten. Women come in all colours, yet there are cultures that just want to cover women up and pretend they don't exist. Ah, gays, the disabled all come in different colours, too yet some cultures have lost tolerance.

I'm an American. I have German and British ancestry.

I don't understand what the relevance of my skin color has to do with......anything.

People are more than the color of their skin. I have met many people and have learned that only the very ignorant judge others based on appearance.

I'm a ginger and have to stay out of the sun (we burn like vampires). Aside from some freckles, I'm as white as white can be.

Albino's, really, have the only claim to white-supremacism. Everyone else is a pretender.

You should ask black people in cities what are they so upset about.

I think a lot of what creates a race problem in this country is more about class warfare, opportunities, and poverty. With the FBI solely concentrating on terrorism there's no effort to fighting organized crime in local governments. Institutionalized crime is a big problem in the cities. People living in the cities are stressed to the point where rioting is a hair trigger event.

Institutionalize organized crime is a huge problem we just don't have anytime to address because all the other issues are more important.

Im human and couldn't care what color I was born with.

I am proud only of the positive things that I and my loved ones have achieved.

And then there's this police behavior in the cities. Most people in this country simply do not acknowledge there's even a problem:

If your white you have privileges.
If your black , you try to make white people feel guilty for earning your privileges.

If your white , all lives matter.
If your black , black lives matter.

If your black you have more chance of been arrested.

If your black you have more chance of been a criminal.

If your white you accept when you've #ed up and get on with it and learn .

If your black it's everyone else's fault.

Oh no - you've just given me a pre-internet flashback of my life with liquid-paper - I used to hate it when the brush would get half-clogged and dry and leave big lumps all over my fine work of mass-editing.

being able to travel to almost any country for holiday / vacation and not have to 'check ' for certain things for the sake of your children.
