By creating this false threat and presuming South Korea they can get them to disagree with the US.

Phooey, if the Chinese occupied Baja California with armies, air bases and 'defensive' missiles, you'd have fits.

The real threat to Asia comes from without, the uS occupies half the Korean peninsula, most of western and eastern europe and the Middle east. The Beast wants more, is engaged in other wars of conquest in other regions of the world.

Whom you trying to convince all this is a 'false threat' ?

I will debunk your defense of fat boy as that's the point of the thread. IF fat boy was a good guy and unification was his true goal,

You just did it again, focus only on regime change, but really you want the whole country, not just the half you already own. But really and truly warmonger, you want the whole continent, the world, and you still won't be happy.

You'll kill everyone sight that isn't like you...

I very much doubt that the number of THAADS would in any way be sufficient considering NK's stockpile. Further more, a big part of Seoul is within artillery range and that is unstoppable.

It would or will be a very bloody encounter.

P

Tens of thousands of South Korean casualties are projected within the initial hour of a North Korean conventional barrage..
The disruption to the world economy would be devastating as well. We would likely be looking at a worldwide depression as a result of a US/ROK/NK conflict.

Do you even use your brain. You don't think China invading California is a big deal? China doesn't own South Korea though they did try real hard. And wow I'm sure Europeans would argue the US isn't controlling them. So basically everythING you said has no basis in reality. Are you even from this planet or do you live in North Korea and just can't get access to news

So it appears government estimates of a South Korean death toll are much, much higher than unofficial projected estimates..
Wow.. just wow.

Presidential advisor Bannon:

“There’s no military solution, forget it. Until somebody solves the part of the equation that shows me that ten million people in Seoul don’t die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don’t know what you’re talking about, there’s no military solution here, they got us.”

Shelling isn't going to kill 30 million. There was supposed to be huge losses in the Gulf War because Saddam said he was going to reign down death and destruction if he was attacked. It didn't happen because by the time he realized he was under attack it was over.

He sat in Bagdad giving a speech about destroying the middle east all the while US troops were enteeing bagdad. They took out power plants and his signit capabilities before he could even call for a strike.his only opton was to hide and attempt to avoid capture. And we'll we see how that turned out he was caught hiding in an underground bunker in someone's back yard. If little Kim can't control his military he is zero threat. During the Korean War this was impossible. Now however with modern weapons it's not only possible it's been done all ready.

Why Even bother to compare this situation with Iraq?

NK have about 5000 artillary guns and MLRS and much more pointed at Seoul. SK will not be given any pre waring to have time to get to shelters. IT will only take a few minutts for the first rounds to impact Seoul. And will be falloved up with a few thousand more minuts after.

The only thing that would save Seoul is If the soldiers dont comply to kims orders.

A pre strike by the US will bring China and Russia into the war, this will make the situation for SK Even worse because the US would have to shift its priority from attacking NK to defending its assets in the rigoin from two superpowers.

SK will never allow the US to attack NK unless NK attack first and that wont happen.

Only about 700 heavier guns and rocket launchers, plus the newer 300-millimeter MRLs, have the range to strike Seoul. So we are not dealing with thousands first if all. Second only about a third of these will fire at a time since they will fire off a couple of rounds and return to their hart's ( hardened artillery sites). This will be done to avoid return fire. Seoul has air raid shelters everywhere if you have ever been there. So once the sheeting starts large portions of the population will seek shelter. So the initial attack would cost them dearly as these 700 sites will be targeted quickly. There will be loss of life but to say a million will die much less 30 million is silly.

In a first strike scenario south Korea comes out much better their artillery is I'm position to return fire roughly about 600 artillery and rocket units. This does not include US forces stationed along the DMZ. Throw in air force and North Korea could quickly be defanged.

Please stop the evil US thing. They don't occupy anywhere. Anywhere there is a US base it is by request of that govt. Even In Iraq and Afghanistan US forces are there by request. In Iraq US forces were asked to leave and they did. They returned because Iraq asked for help against Isis. And Afghanistan Obama wanted to pull out completely however 8400 ended up staying do to afganistan request. They are restricted to military support roles. And if you think 8000 troops could occupy a large city much less a country your crazy.

Me personally I think the US should pull out of several areas including Europe. However it just isn't practical until these countries increase there military to meet their needs.

One soldier was killed and six injured in South Korea during an artillery drill. I'm trying to keep the excerpt as short as possible, but the report itself is very short:

The blast occurred on the shooting range of a front-line Army unit in Cheorwon, some 88 kilometers north of Seoul, at 3:19 p.m., according to an Army officer. Seven servicemen were rushed to a hospital and one of them, a 27-year-old sergeant first class, died during the transport, an Army officer said. "An unidentified explosion took place during the drill, injuring some people," he said. A probe into the cause of the incident is underway, he added.

More like Out of their 19 000 guns more than 8000 are pointed at Seoul. That is over 8000 Shells hitting a wast populated city basically at the same time.

SK are doomed no mater what. IF the US dont play their Cards right even they will be pushed out of that part of the world.
