Next time take a picture instead of wasting time calling police.
Secure evidence... first, always
I don't have a camera. I carry a throw down.
It has fancy features like a calendar and calculator.

Also if you pay attention (at least this is the case where i see them) youll find it evident that they are training new pilots. Youll often see one make a series of manuevers. Then a second one will try to make the exact same manuevers but they will look sloppier like the pilot hasnt quite gotten it down yet.

You seem really familiar with this phenomena. What kind of technology are they using to pretty much break the laws of physics? I'm not trying to be condescending...I'm genuinely curious.
I am more familiar than I care to be. Laws of physics?
They don't need no stinkin' badge.

its hard to remember to take a photo, but there are real videos out there of these things
I was too mesmerized by what I was seeing to think about taking a photo.
For a good hour.
Maybe I'm just lazy.

Your area had some pretty bad weather yesterday. Do you think it could have been ball lightning or something to that effect?
I tried to solve what I was witnessing in the the most mundane fashion.
The sky was blanketed in cloud overcast.
Possibly something like ball lightning?

You didn't have your phone on hand for the hour you were watching them?

Any way they might be caught on a Google camera or weather cam of any kind? Maybe I'll poke around and see.

Would be interested to hear Zaphod's input on these lights.
If he does know anything about them being man-made I'm guessing we'll hear nothing.

I doubt he'd jump into a conversation regarding this.

Was it something like this?

www.youtube.com...

The only thing I can imagine would be some type of consumer drone with external lights, but that seems to be a stretch from tye distance/speed it appears to be.

~Winter
very similar. there were some variations, but, yeah...something like that.
