This was a "for fun only" contest. No medals, ribbons, rewards or presents.

On this occasion, this was a "just for fun" contest, with no prizes or awards.
Our usual writers contests have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awarded for our best writer entries, and non-writer entries.

The votes are cast by the ATS members who read the entries and then award Stars and/or Flags to their favourites.
It is an opportunity for non-writers to win writer status, and the winning writer usually has the honour of choosing the theme for the next contest.

There will be a proper contest along shortly!
Keep an eye on the Short Story Forum for details.
