Bernie sanders under investigation for bank fraud!

There are two areas of contention that are allegedly under investigation.

1. A misrepresentation of collateral on the loan application (Which is bank fraud)

2. And the far more serious allegation that Bernie himself attempted to quash the original criminal investigation.

Now, before you Bernie supporters go off, let me remind you that corporate side of the DNC wants Bernie out and in no way do they ever want him to be a contender again.

The original investigation was authorized long before the election in Nov. and was initiated by Dems.

I think this will be, so far as Bernie goes, a nothing burger. His wife... that may be another story.

I don't know anything about his wife... but I believe Bernie Sanders is a decent guy who means well.

Now... admittedly... I am very very conservative... I'm also a political atheist. Fact is, I always liked Bernie Sanders... even when he was running for the Dem nomination.

Hell... if I thought Hillary Clinton was really going to win the election, I would rather have Bernie any day.

Now, the problem with Bernie, is the same problem most of Washinton DC has... politicians apparently don't know how to do basic math. They apparently don't know anything about economics and monetary policy... or, and this is certainly true of a LOT of them... THEY DON'T CARE.

Bernie really does care... but his policies would have destroyed the country... which these days, is really saying something... LOL

I would imagine the Dems would do ANYTHING to inoculate the DNC and Clinton, against scrutiny of their hijinx in the 2016 election fraud.

Bernie and Jill needed and obtained a lawyer. It's not the "big deal" that many are making it out to be however...

I get what you're saying about Socialism and all, but you realize you're talking about a corrupt version of Socialism right???

The corrupt form of all types of Government are failures. Because they're corrupt. That's the important point right there.

Do you think a corrupt form of Capitalism or Communism or anything else is somehow great and working perfectly?? No. Because it's corrupt.

You can point to any system which is corrupt and say it's not working. That's not hard.

What's hard is naming any system that doesn't become corrupt in the first place.

There was just a segment on Fox about this... Pretty serious charges and there is paperwork AND witnesses.

One of the issues is that Sanders wife claimed she had millions in donations already as part of her loan application... But they only really had a few hundred thousand.

An example is that a woman pledged £1m upon her death, yet this money was included in the donations Sanders said she had in hand. The woman has said that she never committed the money and signed no paperwork.

Mrs Sanders was also paid the equivalent of over 1000 dollars for EVERY student in the college as her salary. That was Just her salary....and she got 200000 dollars severance when she left after running up debts.

The thing is, if Bernie's wife goes to prison for bank fraud, then any hope of Bernie getting the nomination in 2020 evaporates. Which is almost certainly the reason this is being pursued. And since both the Republicans and most of the Democratic party have a vested interest in hobbling Bernie, there is every reason that they'll do their best to make these charges stick.
