No it appears black because the light isnt propigating through the atmosphere like were used to.

Appears black down here(night sky), perspective being the definitive variable.

One day, when the stars have all burned out and drifted apart it will all appear black, entropy after all being the cruel mistress that she is.

But by that time i imagine Humanity, our star system, and anything else that we have produced, will be confined to the annals of oblivion.
