Actually, Clive Barker is doing a remake of his own film/novella Hellraiser. The original novella that Hellraiser is based on is called The Hellbound Heart written by Clive Barker in the 1980s.

It's one of the only pieces of fiction that I have on my bookshelf, sandwiched right between Mark Frost & Edgar Allen Poe.

But back on topic...

Even Pinhead comes around to do some good in the first sequel. I think a more likely Hellraiser comparison would be Claire Higgins, who plays Julia in the first two movies.

Of course she went there. She is an unbelievable narcissist and pathological liar whose only true motive is power.
