Secret plans to 'protect' France in the event of Le Pen victory emerge(Guardian)

but France had a detailed plan to “protect the Republic” if far right leader
Marine Le Pen was elected president,
French media have reported.

L’Obs cited three anonymous sources with knowledge of the emergency plan
that would have been put into effect had Le Pen reached the Elysée palace,
saying it was devised by a small group of ministers,
chiefs of staff and top civil servants.

The magazine said the plan was aimed mainly at preventing serious civil unrest
and “freezing” the political situation by convening parliament in emergency session
and maintaining the outgoing prime minister in office.

Police and intelligence services were particularly concerned by the threat of “extreme violence”
from mainly far left protesters in the event of a Le Pen victory
as the country would have found itself “on the brink of chaos”.

anti-EU Front National leader had been elected were equally acute.

Although he subsequently denied saying so, French media reported before the election that if Le Pen won, Socialist prime minister Bernard Cazeneuve would stay on at least until the parliamentary polls.

France’s constitution does not oblige a prime minister to step down when a new president is elected.
Under article 8, “the president appoints” prime ministers – but only parliament can remove them from office, through a vote of no confidence

This is interesting only that it is scary if true. A Western govt succumbing to the threat of violence from voters if they lost, so much so that they were thinking of overthrowing an elected govt. That should be enough to make people very concerned in France.

Now the UK managed to be free of project EU we need to be aware of things like this.
We will have enough of a problem from our own remoaners but it wouldn't surprise me if there turned out to be a few paid up plants and saboteurs lurking out there to cause us trouble both financially and socially.

Need hard evidence I'm afraid before I believe the Guardian these days. But it's certainly possible and plausible.

At best, this is hearsay. But, you know what, sometimes the unlawful can be legitimate. I mean in very unusual circumstances. After all, in many respects laws come behind experience.

It should be remembered that fanatic minorities (Mélenchon supporters) could be fatal.

When viewed more calmly, this would not have been about "overthrowing the elected government".
It would have been about holding the fort against the forces of anarchy, mainly left-wing, trying to exploit the inevitable gap between le Pen being elected and Le Pen being able to secure the reins of power. It would have been for her benefit. A very sensible set of precautions.

If you think about it, we are seeing the exact same globalist contingency plan being used against our current Democratically elected President!

They might have tried something as overt as that here, but it's a lot riskier because, you know, AR-15s and such.

A contingency plan by a group of top politicians and staff???? That ladies and gentlemen in French is known as a coup-de-tat and for all you that don't know it's known as rebellion, treason and a few other names.
If Le Pen had been voted in it would be with the vote of the majority of French people and to usurp that would be a complete travesty of democracy. And I also think that the people involved (if genuine story) should be sought out and immediately removed from office and never be allowed to hold a position again.

I'm just guessing but this plan was probably hatched in Brussels by the leaders of Project EU.
Le Pen would have been a big spanner in the works for their ongoing agenda so they would try and sabotage her. France is too much of a key part of the current union and they just couldn't allow her to take office, even if she got 100% of the vote.
They don't care about the French people and what they might want.
