MSM New Business Model: Crazy Trump Conspiracies!

It's a brilliant strategy, not because it's so ridiculous or even true, but because it makes a lot of money.

Day after day, new wild conspiracies and outlandish allegations, from anonymous sources are flooding the MSM over President Trump.

What is the reason for all of this? It's a very simple explanation: It's what the people want!

The news network enjoyed its most profitable year ever in 2016 and it is in line to perform even better in 2017.

Zucker predicts that CNN's profits will hit $1.1 billion for the year, after setting new records for the last three.

Although it budgeted for a 25% decline in ratings as people lose interest in current affairs following the presidential election campaign, ratings for the first seven weeks of 2017 actually show a 36% increase in viewers over the same period in 2016.

The audience in the 25 to 54-year-old demographic – the most lucrative when it comes to advertising – has climbed 51%.

I am beginning to believe this doesn't have anything to do about the media digging for truth, or even a vendetta against the President. This has everything to do with what the viewers want. Gone are the days of boring old politicians.

These MSM outlets are only doing what it takes to survive in an ever growing competitive media market. They are still try to ride the wave of the election campaign, at all costs.

It's all coming into focus now:

Trump, in particular, seems to have been a magnet for attracting viewers.

Relaying information on ISIS while sitting around a table is not leaking, it's relaying and sharing information against a common threat.

If the US had intelligence on a coming ISIS attack in Glasgow, would you not expect it to be shared? You're actually arguing don't share it and let your countrymen die, as if Trump were to share that it'd be a leak of intel and he should be locked up.

What the hell do people think presidents and politicians talk about when meeting with one another behind closed doors? Tacos? Wine? Their children's latest baseball game? Their favorite beach?

No, they talk about current events/issues/threats and share information which they deep helpful to a joint cause. Obama did the same god damn thing when offering intel to Russia on Syria. And you don't think the US and Russia regularly share intel on Syria or China or North Korea among others?
