oddly enough, it wouldn't surprise me if some, not all obviously, didn't. Some hard scrabble farmer who's trying to keep his family fed, and keeping his head on his shoulders by keeping it down, might somehow not know.

I find it hard to believe most don't know, but some sure.

I was suprised about that comment too, especially because americans like to use their flag alot, (compared to my country) and you see it a lot in movies and such. But on the other hand, the information they get is very controlled and the "dear" leader might see it as a threat or something

I understand what you mean but if the soldiers (I am assuming that's what you were talking about. And those people in Pyongyang) bring in those packages with American flag markings on them it would cause cognitive dissonance.
