According to some documents, the Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has sent instructions to U.S. Embassies that apparently call for increased "vetting" when issuing Visas.

All this in the middle of Trump's EOs that are in Court.

Looks like they can do this regardless of Court resistance.

Trump Administration Orders Tougher Screening of Visa Applicants

The Trump administration is making it tougher for millions of visitors to enter the United States by demanding new security checks before giving visas to tourists, business travelers and relatives of American residents.

Diplomatic cables sent last week from Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson to all American embassies instructed consular officials to broadly increase scrutiny. It was the first evidence of the “extreme vetting” Mr. Trump promised during the presidential campaign.

The new rules generally do not apply to citizens of 38 countries — including most of Europe and longstanding allies like Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea — who can be speedily admitted into the United States under the visa waiver program. That program does not cover citizens from any country in the Middle East or Africa.

Good.
The embassy personnel had better comply with their instructions to the letter.

Well, that works. Why didn't they just do that in the first place? The courts cannot challenge that, if they do say he is discriminating, then all he has to do is expand it to include every country. Then the relatives of all people in the USA will have problems getting here, that will unite more of the people against these judges. Extreme vetting in those areas has to be done, we do not want an increase in terrorist activity or a bunch of chaotic middle eastern people forming gangs.

We actually need to stop allowing any chaotic people into this country, we have enough already to deal with, maybe we can export them since they didn't leave as they promised when Trump won.

Yup.
63 days to work on that "extreme vetting." I guess they figured out how to do it. Problem solved!

Right, because low paid bureaucrats are famous for their attention to detail and work ethic.

Yeah, it took them sixty three days to create that rule. I'm beginning to wonder how smart those people are. That should have been the first thing they did, why did they need that long to write that policy?

What "Obama vetting process"...? Do you mean the one Bush implemented and Obama reluctantly followed?

Thats the beauty of it. You see less people means more waiting. and more waiting equals less people visiting.
