Business owners hoping for a quick fix on taxes are going to have to wait until later this year.

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan told Fox News Thursday that tax reform, one of President Trumps big campaigning points and a goal for his first 100 days in office, will be part of the spring budgetary process, with negotiations lasting months. He also said a repeal of the Affordable Care Act must happen first.

Well, it seems that Paul Ryan is working over-time alongside anti-Trump groups which are also being funded by Soros. Watch how the anti-Trump movement try to use this to claim "see? Trump lied again". But these same people won't point out how people like Paul Ryan are being funded by Soros, alongside other "anti-Trump groups".

As it is, you can read in the same article how several retailers and trade associations are against " President Trump's tax reform".

...
Already, more than 100 retailers and trade associations, including giants such as Walmart and Target, have banded together in a group called Americans for Affordable Products, to oppose the tariff, because they fear it will raise consumer prices.
...

fortune.com...

The interesting part is that these groups, including Walmart, Bank of America, google etc have been funding, alongside Soros, the CAPAF. You can also read how the Center for American Progress Action Fund (CAPAF) keep using the false claim that "the Russians influenced the election and alongside voter suppression is how Trump won the Presidential race."

In fact here is the same old regurgitated lie that these "anti-President Trump groups" are using.

Resist.
Posted on December 15, 2016

RESIST HATE.

RESIST CORRUPTION.

RESIST INJUSTICE.

FORGE PROGRESS.
...
We stand with the 54 percent of American voters who rejected Trump on election day.

We believe Trump has no mandate and was propelled to victory through a combination of voter suppression and foreign interference by hostile nations like Russia.

We will not stand by and watch as Trump tries to propagate his radical right-wing agenda on the American people after an election he won without the popular vote.

We will fight back.

We will resist Trumps plan to raise taxes on working families and give massive tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans.
...

www.americanprogressaction.org...

Of course, even though there is not one iota of evidence that supports any of their false claims, the Center for American Progress Action Fund includes more lies such as claiming that President Trump wants to raise taxes on working families, and give tax breaks only to the wealthiest". Except that this is just another lie.

...
Individual Income Tax

Tax rates

The Trump Plan will collapse the current seven tax brackets to three brackets. The rates and breakpoints are as shown below. Low-income Americans will have an effective income tax rate of 0. The tax brackets are similar to those in the House GOP tax blueprint.

Brackets & Rates for Married-Joint filers:
Less than $75,000: 12%
More than $75,000 but less than $225,000: 25%
More than $225,000: 33%
*Brackets for single filers are ½ of these amounts

The Trump Plan will retain the existing capital gains rate structure (maximum rate of 20 percent) with tax brackets shown above. Carried interest will be taxed as ordinary income.

The 3.8 percent Obamacare tax on investment income will be repealed, as will the alternative minimum tax.
...

www.donaldjtrump.com...

There have been some changes from the original tax plan.

taxfoundation.org...

These "anti-Trump" groups, and individuals who are funding radical left-wing anti-Trump organizations like the CAPAF, expect U.S. citizens and residents to believe their lies. After all, they have the mainstream media in their pockets also promoting these false claims, meanwhile they incite violence and even promote the assassination of President Trump.

The website "thinkprogress.org" is in fact provided by CAPAF.

...

thinkprogress.org...

To make a point that these organizations rely on nothing but lies in the above link they even go so far as claiming that CAPAF is a non-partisan organization...

...
2. Purpose of the Website; About CAPAF.

CAPAF is a nonpartisan, tax-exempt organization, which is the sister advocacy organization of the Center for American Progress Action Fund. CAPAF strives to transform progressive ideas into policy through rapid response communications, legislative action, grassroots organizing, advocacy and partnerships with other progressive leaders throughout the country and the world. Please note that CAPAF is a non-partisan organization. With the Website, CAPAF seeks to provide a forum to advance progressive ideas and policies — not to advance the interests of any particular candidate for office or party.
...

thinkprogress.org...

How in the world is an organization that promotes left-wing policies supported by democrats makes it a "non-partisan organization"?

Is quite ironic that CAP and CAPAF in fact share the same office address (1333 H St. NW, 10th Floor
Washington, D.C. 20005 ), and the President of both organizations is Neera Tanden,(CAPAF, CAP) which means the two groups which focus pretty much on promoting the same progressive policies can receive more than one donation in the year from the same individuals/groups, like Soros.

I guess only the Progressives can do this, and if anyone else uses existing laws to help with their income/funding it is wrong as long as that group/individual leans to the right in politics...

The idea for the creation of CAP, and later CAPAF, came from a discussion between Morton Halperin and George Soros.

To get back to the main premise of the thread, these are some of the same groups which are being funded by you guessed it, George Soros alongside other progressives. Not to mention of course that this group of corporate interests, including Walmart, don't care about people. After all, they hire workers in places like China knowing the deplorable conditions that these workers are living with, and which they are forced to work in.

It seems that Paul Ryan is working alongside these "anti-Trump groups" which will of course use this to claim "President Trump lied again".

Of note there is this fact that Paul Ryan, among other Senators and other influential figures in both the republican and democrat party are receiving funds directly, and indirectly through a myriad of organizations of George Soros.

To be fair, something like 82% of the Bush-era tax cuts were made permanent at the beginning of 2013. I think it was the "American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012" (HERE). So most of the tax laws that Congress want are already law. And since Congress writes and passes the laws, Trump will actually have to negotiate with them to get them to pass the specific tax changes that he wants.

So it makes sense that it will take time for all of this, especially if they're going to repeal and/or replace the Affordable Care Act first.

Congress works a measley 139 days a year. That's approximately 3 days a week.

Source: uspolitics.about.com...

Hard to get much done in a corporation on a schedule that light. With a government body that's heavy with meetings just to set more meetings, it's impossible to accomplish much of anything in a timely fashion.

President Trump works 6 days a week and sleeps just 4 hours a night. One of his biggest frustrations will be dealing with a Congress that barely works.

Maybe he could sign an Executive Order for Congress to put in more hours per year?

He can't. Executive Orders only affect the Executive branch.

More hyperbole.

this group of corporate interests, including Walmart, don't care about people

Wait a second- Democrats have been saying for decades that corporations don't care about people and you guys do nothing but attack us and call us communists and hippies and claim that corporations are so great and wonderful and have no moral obligation or duties to society other than making money. Now all the sudden you want to claim that they don't care about people just because they may not be supporting all of the dictator's policies? WTF?!

And stop with this stupid crap about Paul Ryan being against Trump. He's every bit as right wing and evil as Trump, probably more so, he just is a different kind of conservative so they don't mesh well ideologically. The idea that Ryan is really a liberal in disguise is ridiculous beyond comprehension.

No, there is a big difference between being pro-business, and being pro-corporations. Corporations are a form of centralized control, and centralization comes from the left. Unfortunately there are and have been RINOs who are nothing but "progressives" and do love corporations.

As for your claim that Paul Ryan is a conservative?... Please...he is a RINO and a progressive. He demonstrated this time and again, with one of his latest moves was to pass "the omnibus spending bill".

...
Unfortunately, the disastrous omnibus spending bill that Speaker Paul Ryan negotiated pushes the American dream further away from too many families. Following an all-too-familiar script--despite Republicans holding the majority in both houses of Congress--GOP leadership betrayed our principles through this terrible bill, acquiescing to the Obama administrations determination to swell to our $18 trillion dollar debt.

This irresponsible bill is another reminder of the Right and Left’s unholy alliance of spending more of our money at every turn. Conservatives in the House and Senate must fight this big government bill if we are to build a better future where our children can thrive, not just pay off our profligate spending.
...

time.com...

There have been progressives in both parties for decades. Republican "progressives" are not conservatives. His track record says it all.

Paul Ryan's record shows he voted conservative in 24 votes, and voted liberal in 22 votes. He is a RINO and a progressive.

If anything, this should show you how far to the right they've drifted. If someone like Paul Ryan is considered a liberal, then WTF are they comparing him to?

Does Paul Ryan ever disclose what he means by the word reform. ie what will the reform look like when its implemented.

Answer don't know, depends on the neogitiation. Well, does he ever detail their desired changes and how things will look like when the desired reforms are implemented?

betcha he dont and never will either cos he wants you all to think that the final changes are not his doing if they are not well received by the intended recipients of the reform.

LMAO, this is so transparent, it's worthy of a Cartman clip.

They're not worried about the impact it'll have on us regular folks, they're worried about the slam on their profit margin as a RESULT of price hikes impacting us.

It happened almost as soon as Paul Ryan took his current position. Going in, he was the conservative poster child but being speaker of a party that has strong internal divisions just has a short shelf life. He's lasted longer than I thought he would.

"Do-Nothing Paul" needs to go, before he totally sabotages the President's agenda to make America even greater.
