not feeling this at all.
bill paxton in the lead as the 'bad cop'

going by the trailer he does not look like he pull sit off.

on the plus side it looks like the only similarities between the show and the movie(one of the greatest) is the title and we have a bad veteran cop training a good rookie cop.

Well that's going to be terrible. Some movies should never be TV shows; training day is one of them.

EDIT: Wow just saw the trailer. It's like they are deliberately trying to destroy the magnificent movie that is Training Day. Deliberately trying to tarnish Denzel's masterful performance.

Lethal Weapon is another one.

I agree with the op.

Yes, another classic series.

Lethal Woman, I played the first episode and it felt too much like it's to be a "daily grind" series (opposed to serial). I can't get past a couple episodes of daily grind shows. And dude got shot in the foot and he's up and walking on it the next day.

This one clearly doesn't look to be such drivel. And if they made it just like the movie then that'd be lame. So I don't see cause for all the lamentations.

TV has been mostly stale in recent months, aside from a few good super duper serials. Vikings and Black Sails are all the jazz at the moment.

When's this one start?

www.cbs.com...

CBS says Thursday Feb 2 at 10/9c.

I didn't even make it past 15 of the first show. LOL.

I don't watch network television anymore.

I use alternative means now.

I'm seeing a lot of stuff on torrents called "training day", but none of it is a tv show. lol

I watched the trailer last night. At first it seemed promising, but the longer Bill Paxton talked, the less I thought of it.

I am willing to watch the pilot, as it involves Jerry Bruckheimer and Antoine Fuqua, but I still don't have high hopes.
