Drain the swamp indeed. This is unprecedented according to the article. Trump spend millions of campaign dollars on his own businesses. Yes he's smart at business- smart at enriching himself. How anyone can believe he wants to help regular people is beyond me.

No, the obvious question is: Was there open bidding, and if not, why not?

CNN - Clingon Nu Network with Fake News.

At least Trump didn't snatch the food that was destined for the poor in Haiti and watch them starve to death.

Oh how Hellary Klingon will be judged with all the blood on her hands.

Feel lucky that she is not in power, because if she got elected, everyone would now be radioactive fallout or dying of cancer by now, after a nuclear war with Russia.

It usually is when you're spending someone else's money. Do you think the RNC likes the idea of Trump spending their money on bobble-head dolls that put money in Trump's pocket?

His situation is unusual in that he owns so many businesses that provide relevant services, but it sounds like he was just using campaign money to cover campaign costs. Unless he was profiteering from it in some way that was a violation of the law, I don't see much of an issue here.

I was under the impression only government agencies were legally requried to go out for bid.

Read the article, he spent $12.8 mill on his businesses and 8 mill of it was on flights.
Considering the miles he racked up during his campaign and you include his entourage that seems reasonable.

As for the amount spent by a candidate on his own businesses being unprecedented Id like to know how many other previous candidates had businesses that it would be possible to utilise during a campaign?

Another Anti Trump hit piece that fails miserably

HAHA... of course he did.

He made a fortune off of the election.

First, he loaned his campaign money which he will write off, but that money was spent at his facilities.

That was the lie about self financing.

Second, he got the RNC to foot the bill and he made a fortune on that.

Third, he self deals as acting president.

The art of the scam.

ok - if you are going to go down this road - lets turn it around - mrs clintons camain generated quite a bit of " printed material " - posters , banners etc etc etc

all assumedly done under contract by 3rd party printing firms [ as the DNC doesnt own its own print ship ]

so - the question : please document the ` open bidding processes and tender requests ` - for just one contract for printing of mrs clintons campaign material

You mean he did what he was legally required to do? Horrible. Do you have any evidence of wrongdoing?

Trump could literally shoot someone in the streets...

Didn't take long for the Hillary deflections and the source being attacked lol.

I thought Clinton supporters were willfully ignorant, you guys are willfully delusional lol. Trump, nor any of his cultists, can take any sort of criticism.

Anytime anything negative comes out about him his paid legion on online internet trolls make sure to correct his record by attacking the source and deflecting to Hillary.

I wonder why much Trump pays some of you folks?

I recall him saying he put in some $100 million of his own money.

hey, lighten up guys!!
it's probably the first time in his life that he paid his bills in a timely manner...
maybe he thought this would be a good practice run for when he becomes president and is responsible for paying the country's bills....

Do you guys even use the Google before making assertions, or do you just get off on being critical for criticals sake?

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump pumped a total of $66 million of his own money into his campaign - far from the $100 million he frequently boasted he was going to spend, according to campaign finance disclosures filed on Thursday night.

Trump-related business industries - those bearing his own name, including his private jet and the Manhattan building that served as his campaign headquarters - received $11 million in payments from his campaign.

Well you clearly dont do the Google. And seeing you be critical of Hillary that would be the day.
