Promising no censorship, social network Gab draws 'alt-right'

GAB promises never to censor content. It is a safe haven for the "alt right. The story goes on to say that the alt right is dominated by white supremacists. There is a waiting list to get on this network.

Squeezed out of Twitter and other social media websites cracking down on hate speech, far-right activists are finding a home on a new platform that promises never to censor content.

Launched in August, Gab has become known as a safe haven for the "alt-right" movement dominated by the white supremacists who are helping fuel America's deepening polarization.

The social network currently has 100,000 members and another 200,000 on its waiting list, according to the company.

GAB is still in it's test phase and can only handle 100,000. So if you use GAB you are a white sup????

Gab is unable to accommodate all those who want to join, he adds, because it is still in its test phase.

The social network's rise comes amid Twitter's suspension of political activists for purportedly promoting racist and harassing comments.

One of the new "Gabbers," Richard Spencer, heads the white supremacist National Policy Institute, whose account Twitter has suspended.

Reddit is cracking down on toxic users, GAB meanwhile pledges no censoring or filtering. I think this is a cool idea, we are all adults, and this GAB is a forum. But we will have to wait and see.

Reddit, an online news and messaging board, announced last month that it would crack down on "toxic users" in an effort to curb some incendiary comments from supporters of President-elect Donald Trump.

"We have identified hundreds of the most toxic users and are taking action against them, ranging from warnings to timeouts to permanent bans," Reddit chief Steve Huffman wrote.

Gab meanwhile pledges no censoring or filtering, allowing users to post messages of 300 characters, compared to Twitter's 140-character limit.

Why do you insist on making "alt-left" a "thing"? It's not. I have explained to you and yours on other occasions, people who are left of left are typically Socialists. Alt-right is rather naziesque, wouldn't you agree? And there is nothing remotely parallel to it in the Left.

And it's not necessary to post links from other sites who also insist on it. They are apparently as mixed up and gullible as you are.

I'm talking about these Cult of SJW fanatics that are increasingly the mainstream. The people out committing hate crime atrocities. The people rioting. The people completely obsessed with Critical Race Theory / the Progressive Stack / the "Patriarchy". People like Third Wave Feminists. Go on youtube and punch in "SJW cringe" and you'll see an endless barrage of these maniacs. People that post stuff like #patriarchy #killallmen #killallwhitemen #killwhitey and whatever their latest wicked hashtag their brigades are marching to these days.

In hindsight in this thread, I realized after I posted that I sort of Nuked The Fridge, that since they are being coddled instead of likewise banned from the likes of Twitter of course the Alt-Right are probably looking for a spot, where the Alt-Left are not thanks to the MSM / Twitter / Facebook / Google / the DNC / Hillary / etc propping the SJW / Snowflake Generation up. That is the Agenda afterall. Can't have a civil war without them reaching critical mass...

Meanwhile, the other Big Story related to this is, it's the MSM and the Alt-Left media that are effectively keeping the Alt-Right (of the actual white nationalist variety) on the stage with reports like this. And why shouldn't they? Before they came along their 'enemies' were phantoms. As long as they keep targeting whites, and keeping these groups in the 'news', then they'll push them in and get the enemy they're looking for to finally have an actual 'justification' to exist. In some circles this would be known as a "self Fulfilling Prophecy", but these are people engaging in 'social group magical thinking' so who knows what they call it.

We realise there are people with different opinions and we are confident enough in our beliefs that we actually encourage discussion (or argument) in the hope of finding understanding or a middle ground.

Why do you zero in on that kind of thing, silly? Those folks are such a minority. Most Republicans are decent folks, but then you have the alt-right who are off the rails. You've got stupid screaming women, those radical feminists (like in Sweden) and people raising hell about the election, but very simply, most are not. Nope.

Well, to be fair, there really is a White Nationalist contingent claiming the Alt-Right label is theirs.

I've seen a few of their videos posted up in here.

They strike me as a group that exist in specific response to all the white bashing kind of stuff I just mentioned above (racism is just Tribalismis when you get down to it, afterall). Like what might come in between 'normal' folks, and actual White Supremacists. That is, they're finding their ways into that scene 'defensively', where the true hardcore racists (Neo-Nazi's, KKK, etc) would be more of an 'offensively' posture. On a 'spectrum', as nothing is ever truly black & white.

But there it is: the SJW's being promoted by the DNC are effectively the gateway drug for otherwise normal people to start defensively falling into the counter-tribalistic theories that go on into the hardcore such as the NN.

The scariest part of all is, we see it all the time even here in ATS, is whenever these most hardcore racist/bigoted SJWFRONT types pop up in the news, majority of the resident liberals all come flocking in to support them either overtly defending them, or at least to derail the threads.

What everyone needs to remember is this:
There exists a madlib sort of online game for some time now. It's called "SJW or STORMFRONT". The way it works is, people take quotes from either type of website, they remove the social identity type pronouns, and then the challenge of the game is try to accurately guess whether it was an SJW or a NN that made the comment.

Note these are the most hardcore racist white supremacists up against Hillary's "Alt-LEFT" types. From what I've seen of this 'new' Alt-Right, I dont get the feeling that they're all all the way into that scene... yet. Therefore the task we face is neutering the SJWFRONT before they get their counter-critical mass and then the back and forth Social Group Warfare (SGW) will truly become endemic.
