This is an interesting scenario. If Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are in the process of recounting votes, they will miss the December 13th national certification deadline..which means that the Electoral College voters in those states will not be able to cast their votes on December 19th.

Donald Trump would essentially be stripped of 55 Electoral Votes, bringing his total below the 270 Electoral Votes that are required, in order to be President of the United States of America.

SCENARIO and POSSIBLE OUTCOME: www.thegatewaypundit.com...

If this happened, how would Donald Trump react? It would be a bigger embarrassment for him than anything that happened during the Presidential election campaign, wouldn't it?

Then we go without a president, Hillary will have way less if that is the case and because she was in on the recount, she is liable too. Kick out Obama and give all the power to the Republican controlled congress and no president will be there to veto anything. Obama should not stay in office after eight years.

Really? Can they not vote if the count is not in?

I think America needs to be alone for a little while and learn to love itself before jumping into bed with another president. That's just me though

Why would it be an embarrassment, that is like you get stabbed in the back after the perpetrator acknowledge you defeat it fair and square.

It's similar to how the Trump team is embarrassing Mitt Romney right now.

Maybe December 19th isn't cut in stone and can be delayed.

Why do you think Trump is going on and on about illegal voting?

He doesn't want to be POTUS. He wants recounts, he's adding gasoline on a fire he wants to spread. He wants OUT of the White House. He proved he could do it, and now he's bored and wants to sell Trump Burgers or whatever else he'll slap his name on next.

That was it all along, an ego thing to prove he could. To show the other wealthy elites he could do it.

Trump has never been taken seriously by the wealth elites, and that bruises his ego.

To top that off, he's not nearly as wealthy as he claims. If he can't make more money than his peers, he'll gain the highest office in the land, and show them.

Trump saw a political party he could step into and exploit, using his salesman and entertainer skills. Trump could have just as easily gone Democrat if he thought he could take over the Democratic party.

Trump saw a fractured Republican party with way to many candidates on the field. He knew that he stood a much better chance winning the primary with the GOP than the Democrats.

No, Trump doesn't want to be POTUS and have endless legal battles about his international businesses hanging over his head constantly. . .

I'm a little confused, seeing as Michigan certified/announced earlier tonight that Trump wins Michigan's 16 electoral votes...

The Three Stooges (Stein-Clinton-Soros) know that they're not going to find enough fraud to hand the election to Hillary. They merely want to - IMO..

1.) Embarrass and Anger the Trump team.

2.) Reduce the "legitimacy" of a Trump presidency, by having the House of Representatives declare him WINNER, instead of the official Electoral College. Add a House of Rep declaration to Hillary winning the popular vote, and it makes President Trump seem like a paper mache President..or something like that.

That could actually be very well possible. Hillary just wanted to be the first lady president, she would do anything to get that recognition too. and she did tell everyone what they wanted to hear. Trump can go back and live with his wife, I don't know why anyone would be dumb enough to want the president's job in the first place. He must have had a brain fart.

So, his master plan was to win the election, completely destroy his brand and then give up the position he obtained (while destroying said brand)?? Hmmmmm... To me that doesn't add up..

Since it was so close, Michigan already did check things out thoroughly, they have historically gone democrat so wanted to be positive it was true. Well, they should accept the money for the recount and get back what it cost to do that checking.

If nobody gets 270 electoral votes, it goes to the House. IIRC, all the reps from a given state get together and decide from among the three candidates who received the most votes and it ends up being 1 vote for each state?

The likely result would be that Trump would still be elected President given the Republican control of Congress.

Yeah but then all he has to do is see to it that she is punished for her crimes. That would bolster his image.

I see it as a win win

Also I just checked it out there is a dead line in Wisconsin.

That recount took more than a month. This one would have to happen more quickly because of a federal law that says states must complete presidential recounts within 35 days of the election to ensure their electoral votes are counted. This year, that's Dec. 13.

Not sure about the other states, but from the sounds of things it might be too late in Pennsylvania as well.

Seems to be federal law lol.

I'm not seeing how he destroyed his brand.

Maybe that is the flaw in your calculations.

If it's simply a recount, how long can it possibly take?

Considering the first count took, what? One day?

This is all a farce
