I've stated before now that Comeys true character and motives will not be known for years. He's been fairly fluid amidst all this.

I am curious if the reports about the laptop gone missing, the immunity agreements, the reports of laptops being destroyed, etc were all a ruse to let Clinton and her top people think they were in the clear in hopes they would talk about the closing of the investigation and incriminate themselves?

They have been investigating the Clinton Foundation for over a year now. Maybe its true the classified emails were the decoy for the real prize - Clinton foundation corruption.

When US Military commanders have to talk to the troops about not performing an armed rebellion if Clinton wins, something else is going on.

I just think the people in office have finally realized how massively they have misjudges the anger of the American people.

Personally, I think all the conflicting info about a "search warrant" this past weekend was just lies made up by CNN or MSNBC. They wanted to make it look as if Comey had broken the law by accessing e-mails on the laptop illegally, before the warrant was acquired.

I don't think the FBI would view e-mails on Huma's laptop without proper authorization. Maybe they obtained a "blanket" authorization to search all laptops and electronic devices in the Clinton domain, when they obtained Cheryl Mill's computer this past Summer.

I believe that was your theory from the beginning, no?

They did say they were through so yes, possibly thinking they were in the clear.

It is also possible they knew that an entity hacked the server and that the files were compromised. Hopefully sooner or later going through Wikileaks.

It's a vague image at this point. It comes into focus a little more everyday and I think it's going to be very ugly.

The warrant at that point was a mere formality. The evidence was already in custody just not the FBI's custody until the warrant IRRC.

Even though they said both parties gave consent the smarter path would be to get a warrant. Since they are married they share whats called Spousal Privilege.. Better to play it safe and avoid any possible issues later on.

They had a warrant to check the laptop however it was restricted to evidence dealing with the child porn / sexting bs. a new warrant would be needed to access the info not covered by the first warrant.

For the most part.. I argued the Clinton Foundation was the larger of the 2 issues but because the one investigation contained words like classified that people would latch on to that one.

I am categorically the LAST human being without a discharge
card that would advocate an implementation of Martial Law
(there damn it, isn't at all a Brit tube amp or Jude's cowlick)
but in the final analysis what has happened in our interface
is the ineffectiveness of physical force-- whereas our guys,
Guard or regular Army are looking at us like the creampuffs
we are. Pick and run? With a Barrett and a spotter U TOAST.

Final analysis or lack of any need for one-- ehat is wrong

I think the FBI played Hillary and her crew if this turns out to be true. They mention recordings meaning wire taps. They convince them the evidence disappeared offered immunity deals which of course is worthless if they lied. So they think wow the laptops are gone and alI have to do is tell them my version of the facts and I cant be prosecuted. You let them go and wait for them to talk about it in conversations. Id be interested to see if they used bugs or was it wire taps. If that leak is at all true the FBI just waited until they got what they needed. But this means this whole scandal was much broader and deeper than we imagined. Now on the other hand all this could be just garbage and I'm still entertaining that idea. but it does make recent events make more sense like Chelsea seeming to give the FBI information on the Clinton foundation. And even why Comey wanted to get this out before the election. If I was FBI director and knew there was a good chance I was about to see a crook voted in to office and knew the constitutional quandary this would start id be very hard pressed not to say anything.

The scarier part is this means the corruption runs much deeper into the democratic party and they have been actively suppressing this from the American people. Being a registered democrat that concerns me the most actually. Ive watched this election watched the media put out several false narratives trying to manipulate this election. Still think Trump is an a** and probably in a normal election year the last person we should elect. But I think if all this is true we may owe him more than we know because one thing I do know about him is hes like a dog with a bone. Set him on a path and he will see it to completion no matter what he has to do. Why oh why didn't people vote for Bernie I'm still just shocked.

Bernie had the whole DNC against him. If there wasn't such a force to get her the nomination I'm not so sure she gets it.
