There are couple of stories that go me thinking of late, as to why we can't seem to get over ourselves, the first one is trending heavily on social media, about a 4th grade teacher wearing a form fitting dress, now looking at her body type unless she came dressed in a clown suit or in Nun's habit she is going to offend someone's sensibilities, so is it her body or her dress that's really causing offence.

Atlanta Teacher’s Photos Go Viral, but Some Think Her Attire Is Inappropriate Is there a way teachers should or shouldn’t dress in cla

ourth-grade Atlanta teacher has been called the “sexiest” teacher alive by social media. A photo of Patrice “Tricey” Brown went viral over the weekend, and in the photo, Brown is wearing a formfitting dress while in class. But the photos have people divided when it comes to what is supposedly appropriate teaching attire.

The second and IMO and only slightly more ridiculous is the complaint of a high schooler who complained to mommy that the Cheerleaders were causing a seismic shift in his pants or a disturbance in the force.

Utah cheerleaders are told not to wear their uniforms to school after male student said they make him have ‘impure’ thoughts Read

A student at a Utah high school complained to a school counselor that the uniforms worn by cheerleaders on game day were making him have 'impure' thoughts in class. The male student, who attends Timpview High School, which is located in a predominantly Mormon county, said he was distracted by the cheerleaders' skirts, People Magazine reported. His mother then emailed a school official, who alerted the school's cheerleading coach about the ordeal. The 44 girls on the schools' cheer squads were told not to wear their uniforms to school on Friday before their football game, according to People.

School administrators have said that the situation was all a misunderstanding.
But several of the school's cheerleaders feel 'body shamed'.
'All of us were trying to decide which skirt to wear on Friday and our coach told us that we couldn't wear them anymore,' one cheerleader told People.

As a male and former teen, impure thoughts I and Millions of others have to contend with, but we managed to survived it all, and no amount of clothing is gonna stop impure thoughts, ask those guys in some fundie nation about spotting a woman's ankles , if we allow ourselves down this road then we run the risk of having this below by custom and law rather than by choice.

Have all the impure thoughts you want, be mindful of your impure actions.

You are right. No form of dress will stop 'impure thoughts'. Each school district usually has the power to enforce a dress code , though. It may include females (and males, now) not showing their midriff (the area betwee the top of the pants and over the belly button).
Gang colors and bandannas in gaang-prone areas. T-shirts with offensive slogans or images.

Otherwise, banning 'form fitting' for teachers or students would be going a bit far.

As for the teacher's dress, she looks healthy. No reason to wear a cloak.

44 cheerleaders shouldn't have to change to accommodate one guy's inability to cope with being human.

How will he cope in the real world?

The teacher? A fine looking woman. Why shouldn't she wear what she's wearing there? Picture her in joggers or trousers and a shirt? Whatever she wears, she's gonna look fine in it! What do they expect? Big, baggy jumpers and extra baggy joggers?

Yup beating those poor women for their own impure thoughts.
And the lady pictured above wearing a Burkini would be considered a raging whore worthy of stoning.

What's next? Send the boy to the thought police for having an impure thought to be punished? Or the alternative? Ban all cheerleading outfits? Make girls cover their faces too because a boy can have an impure thought looking at a pretty girl's face? Let's just skip to it and make all women dress in black robes from head to toe because someone may have an impure thought. Does having an impure thought justify rape or any other action because the boy could not control himself? If the answer is no, then whatever school official had the cheerleaders say they couldn't wear their outfits should be suspended for stupidity.

I blame porn. It destroys the brain, if you want to learn more, here are a few facts.

Stuff like this makes me want to run around naked all day. She is just pretty. Not she is the problem, but the damaged brains of those looking at her.

Too much of anything is good for nothing, I agree and here in Japan there is a BIG problem with declining birthrate and an economy going bust over it, all the same though porn have been with us since we learned how to paint on cave walls or turned mud or sticks into shape, but I doubt the kid is a viewer of porn and more from a stifling sex averse home environment he is growing up in.

IMO -- my female opinion -- she's dressed a little too hoochie mama for the classroom. In my book, hoochie isn't just skin-baring clothing, it's it-might-as-well-be-second-skin tight clothing, too.
That's a hook-up night dress, or at best, drinks at a nice bar dress. There's zero need for skin-tight anything in a teaching atmosphere, at any grade level. Likewise, it would have been equally inappropriate if she'd worn a skin-tight shirt & equally tight pants. No need.

I swear to god, I'm fricking 32 and it seems not many women a decade on either side of my age know how to dress contextually respectably anymore. When I was in school, this attire was a major hell no for teachers, WTF has happened to those standards?

Aren't teenage boys supposed to have impure thoughts? God knows, I did. Mostly about teenage girls, as I recall... I seem to remember cheerleaders being some of those girls.

Why would he go to a councilor about it? That's actually somewhat disturbing that he thinks thinking a girl is attractive is bad...

Why would his mother make a fuss?

This is all sorts of not right.

Females should be conservative in their dress when teaching and particularly when teaching young males.

Their hormones are in overdrive already and they are highly likely to read into the way she is dressed something that she does not intend to be there but then my personal opinion is that she could easily be sending out a subtle hint that she is horny and wants to play.

While her dress is somewhat provocative her dress is a long way short of any cause for actions against the lady. I dont see any need for any action other than a quiet word by a female principle. Who Knows, perhaps she had nothing clean to wear that day but that dress.

I agree in that it sends a bad message in the formative years. "Hey kids, look at this fabric stretch to it's limits around my ass and chest, and ogle my curves while you're at it!" Teachers dressed in this manner make me wonder if they're really there to teach, or showing off the goods to whomever they can get to look at them.

Edit: I also agree she doesn't need disciplined, let alone fired. A reminder of it's a school & not Tinder wouldn't hurt, though.

I'm very open minded, but NO, a teacher should not dress like that.

Back in the 60s when I was in high school there were complaints about cheerleaders wearing their outfits to school. They were too flirty.

If he's Mormon, it's their practice to ensure young men are always in the presence of others. They're not allowed access to computers without people being with them or in the next room with doors open. If you ever see them doing the missionary rounds, they'll be in pairs - it's to defend against temptation.

It's a little like Victorian England when there was an outcry about women showing a calf down the beach. A healthy libido would respond to a flash of ankle whereas modern western males are more desensitised. The poor guy in the article will be as sensitive as his Victorian equivalent whilst being surrounded by bare legs and arms, scent and make-up etc.
