Any bluegrass fans here?? Seeing Greensky in a couple weeks!

Hello ATS,

The last couple years I have been listening to bluegrass music more and more (was driving through a rural area in Northeast CT and happened to find a great bluegrass station on the radio and became hooked). I enjoy both the older stuff and newer bands, but I've never seen anything like yet.

I recently moved to Iowa and next month I am going to see Greensky here in Iowa City which I am very excited about! They are probably one of my favorite bands right now.

Any one here have any recommendations on their favorite bluegrass bands/artists? Also, anyone know of any Iowa/Western Illinois gigs? I've found a nearby bar/club that has a local bluegrass band once a month so I'm excited to give them a shot.

This is a good one. I just heard it the other day but it's pretty old.

Greensky is great. Have fun. I like the kreuger brothers a lot. Doc Watson of course. Ricky skaggs, yonder mountain....

saw them last month at red rocks!

we're trying to get tickets for a show in December in Denver.

I think I've seen them 10 times in the last two years.
