Cat Napping

So our 5 cats are doing their thing they do from about 11am until 8pm: napping the day away.

Thought I would share.

Here's Joe, on a nice shelf, sleeping the day away:

A while later, Spot decided the dirty bowl I used to dish out the chicken feed to the chickens would be a better place to nap. I guess he thinks he's a "hot dish"....

Rakish bunch of hunters.

In my nexr life I want to come back as a cat in a loving family. Never ceases to amaze me how they can just seemingly relax and sleep at the most uncomfortable places they can find.

Most of them thar, totally beautifully spaced out cats, look...welll....kinda high. Catnip?

Awesome cats. It is amazing the places in which they will sleep the day away.

Our family's cat Lucy had a litter of kittens recently. Five kittens first litter! They are two weeks old tomorrow. You have inspired me to post some pictures of them soon. She is keeping them under the bed so they are still hard to get at unfortunately..

They are sucking their momma dry she appears anorexic; other than that all they do is sleep in a giant ball of fur and 20 mittens. Most of them also have thumbs - 'polydactyl.' A bit creepy but amazing as well.

Yah, we have 5. Was only 3 until Harley got preggers. She had 3 boys, one went to a new home to be spoiled better.
