From the Jumbo Book of Duct Tape: Materials for a helicopter: eight electric fans, one lawn chair, one long extension cord, and one roll of duct tape.

I remember we got a piece of light thread, and tied it around a fly's neck with a tiny knot (didn't kill it). I taped the other end to the table and watched it attempt to fly away! Flies are very strong flyers and I think that they can lift the weight of a matchstick plane.

I think it would actually work. Those thingas are pretty strong, especially the big fat ones. I'll try it out when I go camping or something. I'll cool down the engines with the cooler.

Hornets and bees would bee so cool to see.

Could you get the specs for an engine change. I'm sure they have a short TBO (time before overhaul)

... i saw this b4 somewhere.... the plane would fly but u have to put the flies to sleep and wake em up in a short time cuz their small and they wont wake up if they sleep for too long.... these things die easily and the plane wont fly straight unless all the flies decide to fle forward at the same time... i think that if somebody does this thing then the plane is going to just hover in the air
