I'm from somewhere near the beach and I read too much. I know things, drink tea, and write for a living. I used to have a really interesting job but then I left because things got a bit too intense.

You can ask me questions. I'm looking forward to getting to know you.

Hi ParadigmMind.

My question is what's the difference between linear thinking
and lateral thinking.

Thanks.

Hello.

Which beach?

What job?

What books?

Enjoy the forums.

Linear thinking is what you accuse someone else of doing when you find fault in their process you can't quite quantify.

Lateral thinking is what you believe yourself to be doing shortly before committing a really egregious error.

I hope that helps.

Several.

I own and operate a media firm. If you need a creative, media, or marketing/PR project done, let me know.

I have two rooms in my house that do little other than hold books. I'm constantly buying more. Recently I've been doing a lot of reading about Tibetan history, religion, and folklore.

The forums are great so far, thanks for the welcome!

I did answer your question above, I just forgot to use the reply function. Which I think expands upon my point.

Appreciate the help.

Welcome to the madness of ATS. So do you have a specialty? Or do you answer all questions? Just curious as your OP was a little vague.

What kinda things do you write? Novels, articles, fact or fiction?

Is yours a sandy beach or pebbles?
I have the choice of both within a few minutes walking distance, plus great cliffs to jump/dive from.

Could dark matter be gravity from other dimensions?

Which animal do you consider to be the sexiest?

What is the driving force behind dark energy?

Which famous celebrity would you like to date, and why?

What is your greatest fear?

Thanks for the welcome!

I have no specialty for purposes of this discussion. If I don't know, then that's my official and correct answer.

I write and edit all kinds of things, from web copy to novels and screenplays. I also employ and supervise other creative professionals. It keeps me busy.

It could, but there's more to what something is that where it comes from. The true purpose of dark matter is both divine and sinister.

The noble and majestic wildebeest.

The dark matter can answer that better than I ever could. Their fates are entwined.

Is the celebrity living or dead? If dead, are they a zombie or a ghost?

Immortality. Also clowns.

WIMPs are often misunderstood. Rather than hypothetical physics they're glitches in the matrix. The Annunaki aren't always on top of their game.

This is the toughest question so far: I like Jazz, traditional Celtic music, Cajun, bluegrass, and a few other things. I live at the beach in summer, so Jimmy Buffett is life.

Hubble certainly thought so, but he failed to allow for the Christmas lights.

Right now our beaches are mostly touristy, but I'm told there's still sand under there someplace. It's rather nice.

East coast or west coast?
