Attempted terrorist attack on Sydney police station - Breaking

A car loaded with gas cylinders drove into a Western Sydney police station...

Not a whole lot of info yet, sounds like the intended explosion from the gas bottles failed.

A man in his 60's has been taken to hospital, possibly the driver of the car

Maybe because gas bottles have a safety blow valve fitted. This is not a terrorist. He's an Idiot.

The smart terrorists are the ones you never hear about, Or arent even called terrorists.

this article is a little more revealing in the deliberate attack on the station. Making jokes about this is in nobody's interest. Why are they not giving his name? Why do so many of these attacks have a history of a criminal record? What is going on in our jails? Apparently, so they say, this one was known to have a known mental condition, was he being monitored by anyone since his last arrest? Something is slipping through the cracks here.

It is only a terrorist attack if the perpetrator is muslim, of course ... otherwise, you will now see, they will say he was only a "mentally ill dude", "had health problems" or whatever.

I don't think anything is so bad in America really. I think there is an over-saturation of media more than anything else. I stopped watching TV because the coverage of some things became tedious, and the events covered were really not so pertinent to me.

Now I could go out on the bicycle trails in the wilderness and somebody with a "Dumb Phone" would make sure I heard about the things I was tired of hearing about, the things I don't have the time to let effect my peace of mind, like it's their duty to make sure I know about all of the heinous events of the world which are not so pertinent to anyone really, aside from those who actually experience it.

The media coverage of every single little event that happens in the world has many thinking the boogeyman is lurking behind every tree and around every corner.

so was this terror or just the worlds worst thought out suicide attempt?
