thats it for me. in fact, exactly.

i've told both my boys (who struggle, like all young people, to climb out of that hive mentality that our schools force on kids) to get rid of friends and just have acquantences. "friends" have all manner of personal drama to dump in your lap. who has time for that?

only my wife.
i have people i deal with at work and i cant stand them. 5 minutes into grocery shopping and i want to thrash people. i just dont like people and really, people dont much like me either and that works great. people tend to keep their distance from me and thats how i want it.

i read this quote somewhere and i always use it.

'i only feel alone when i am with other people'

my social interaction comes from the net.
i am cordial at work because i have to be.

Only a couple close friends in the realworld, and several online ones. I probably have the smallest Facebook account as well; they keep trying to suggest people as if to say "come on now, you're not networking enough!"

Most of my acquaintances in the real world would laugh about anything I post here.
