People defend Islam when there's a terrorist attack committed by people who claim to be Muslim because when it happens the whole religion comes under attack. Obama is just a hypocrite mouthing words the rest of us defending Islam actually feel. If he actually wanted to protect and defend Muslims he'd change his Middle East strategy.

Islam isn't just a Religion. Islam is a Government. You have Islamic Governments who want the world to bow down to the supremacy of Islam in this world.

You don't have any Jewish Governments or Christian Governments. Catholocism isn't just a Religion but a Government that's an extension of the Roman Empire and for a time the Catholic Church controlled the countries of Europe.

Muslim (19:4294) - "When you meet your enemies who are polytheists [Christians], invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them ... If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them"

Bukhari (53:392) - While we were in the Mosque, the Prophet came out and said, "Let us go to the Jews." We went out till we reached Bait-ul-Midras. He said to them, "If you embrace Islam, you will be safe. You should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle, and I want to expel you from this land. So, if anyone amongst you owns some property, he is permitted to sell it, otherwise you should know that the Earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle."

The fact is, there's Muslims who practice it as a Religion just like any other Religion. There are those who want an Islamic State and the total dominance of Islam over every other form of Government.

One of the most influential Islamic scholars of the modern age, Egyptian Sayyid Qutb, says that Muslims have a duty to overthrow any non-Islamic government by violent means. He explains:

"Islam is not merely a belief, so that it is enough merely to preach it. Islam, which is a way of life, takes practical steps to organize a movement for freeing man. Other societies do not give it [Islam] any opportunity to organize its followers according to its own method, and hence it is the duty of Islam to annihilate all such systems, as they are obstacles in the way of universal freedom. Only in this manner can the way of life be wholly dedicated to Allah, so that neither any human authority nor the question of servitude remains, as is the case in all other systems which are based on man's servitude to man." In a modern world, we can no longer have Governments ran by a 6th Century mentality. We have some very powerful technologies on the Horizon and you have this quasi Religion/Government where people see the modern world as the enemy of Islam and that there can be no peace until the world bows down to Islam and follows Sharia Law.

The fact is, you can't have Countries ran by a 6th Century Religion in this modern world. It's Asinine and the weapons on the Horizon are just too dangerous.

It's not about them following anyones way of life. It's about them coming out of the 6th Century. You will always have a clash of civilizations when you have Countries who run their Governments based on a Religion. There isn't any Christian or Jewish Governments. There's just Islamic Governments who want the world to bow down to Islam.

This isn't 2,000 B.C. If you haven't noticed, the world has become interconnected and it's becoming moreso year after year after year. The internent has made the world much smaller and things like quantum computing, A.I., gene editing and more will make us even more connected. Eventually you will be able to order a meal from China in the United States.

To act like we live in a vacuum is IDIOTIC. It's our business and we have to tell these Countries they have to become more modern. We can't have scores of Muslims growing up and seeing the modern world as their enemy. You have women being raped and instead of blaming the men they look to blame the women. People being skinned alive and homosexuals being thrown off of buildings because of these blood thirsty animals.

Yes! I think that he and Hillary and the leadership of the Republican party should all go directly to the leadership of ISIS and begin personal negotiations---sans weapons of course because that's the way they want us to live our daily lives, without personal protection. They can run around with hundreds of people with all sorts of weapons, including "assault weapons" protecting them whilst calling for the banning of those same protections for citizens.
