Obama, who appeared visibly angry at times during his remarks, took on criticism from Trump and other Republicans that he has refused to use the phrase "radical Islam," calling it a "political distraction."
"What exactly would using this label accomplish? What exactly would it change?” Obama asked.
“Would it make ISIL less committed to trying to kill Americans? Would it bring in more allies? Is there a military strategy that is served by this?” he continued. "The answer is none of the above. Calling a threat by a different name does not make it go away. This is a political distraction.”
Obama's mindset on Terrorism is dangerous
Islam (/ˈɪslɑːm/;[note 1] Arabic: الإسلام, al-ʾIslām IPA: [alʔisˈlaːm] ( listen)[note 2]) is a monotheistic and Abrahamic religion articulated by the Qur'an, a religious text considered by its adherents to be the verbatim word of God (Allāh), and, for the vast majority of adherents, by the teachings and normative example (called the sunnah, composed of accounts called hadith) of Muhammad (c. 570–8 June 632 CE). An adherent of Islam is called a Muslim (sometimes spelled "Moslem").[1] Muslims believe that God is one and incomparable[2] and that the purpose of existence is to worship God.[3] Nearly all Muslims consider Muhammad to be the last prophet of God.

I figured you wouldn't like those labels.
Why is it only important to label when it's an Islamic terrorist?
