Well you are mistaken, The Mongol Empire ruled nearly all of Asia and tried to move into Europe, so imagine how wide spread that army was, and then the Persians and Georgians pushed them out to create their own independent countires from the Mongol Empire, and then the Western countries overtaken by the Mongols started to decline fast by revolting and the Ukrainians and Belarusians revolted caused the Chinese empire to draw back their forces. So basically, the Mongol Chinese tried to their greatest extent to take over all the land they knew of and then were too wide spread and their ideologies didn't mix with the west and were turned upon.
Asians never gave up on technology, that is ridiculous. A nation that gives up on technology will fail, and the Chinese/Asians still prosper in a way to this day, proof in point.
